provides food to help those who are hungry in our
community through their Food Pantry. Recently they
have been overwhelmed with requests and the
shelves are almost bare. The Temple is collecting
canned and other non-perishable food to help
replenish their pantry. As you and your family begin
this New Year, we ask that you consider those in our
community who are in need. Please fill your paper
bags that have been distributed with non-perishable food items and drop the food off in the
front lobby of the Temple between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. Thank you for your
generosity. L’ Shana Tova

Religious School High Holy Day Worship3rd Grade & Up
SEPTEMBER 30th - Rosh Hashanah
OCTOBER 9th - Yom Kippur
@ 10:15 AM
On Rosh Hashanah morning, services begin at 10:15 AM. Parents and Religious School aged
children should come to the Sanctuary TOGETHER. This will allow our families an opportunity to
experience our main worship service together. After the initial segment of the service, an
announcement will be made from the bimah for children who want to participate in an age-
appropriate High Holy Day Experience to leave the Sanctuary with Dani. There is an interactive
program for one hour. Then the children will rejoin their families in the Sanctuary to hear the
Shofar and the concluding prayers.
On Yom Kippur, families arrive at 10:15 AM in the Sanctuary to begin our worship services.
After the introductory prayers, all children who want to participate will exit the Sanctuary and
have an opportunity to worship together in age-appropriate worship experience. The children will
not return to the Sanctuary, so please plan on picking them up from the APR at the conclusion
of the main service.
12:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Immediately after services, there will be a quiet space for meditation and reflection with
peaceful music in the Felmus Chapel, adjacent to the Temple lobby.
1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
As is our custom, Cal Simon will lead an Interactive Study Discussion of themes of the High
Holy Days in the APR.
3:00 PM – 4:00 PM
A service of Healing – Contemplative music and readings to help those who faced or
continue to face challenges, those who are ill or have survived illness, those who have lost

Everyone is welcome.
Throughout the Afternoon: gather and schmooze in the Makom or courtyard with your fellow
TBI members.

the year.
