Introduction The CPP 2013 Lite Version is poised to be the gateway to connect budding with
people from other industries. CPP 2013 Lite Version Product, CMSB’s online arm, is designed to create awareness about the Custommedia Sdn Bhd (CMSB) program in the cyber world. The public can access information on the dates and venues of upcoming training sessions via CPP 2013 Lite Version and get updates about the industry and upcoming events, training sessions, certification examinations, and seminars. Sample training syllabus and certification examination questions are available for downloading in the CPP 2013 Lite Version. CPP 2013 Lite Version also functions as an online community for the public with chat rooms and forums on the latest developments in software testing as well as issues, challenges, and opportunities in the industry. The CPP 2013 Lite Version also connects people to services/products related to the software testing industry where companies can advertise job vacancies, products, services, and their overall software testing needs on the portal. These services are available for privileged members only. Interested parties can apply for membership online via the CPP 2013 Lite Version. Following are the constraints in the CPP 2013 Lite Version Product: SharePoint Technology
The product is developed and limited on SharePoint 2013 technology platform
The user access right, group and permission is controlled by SharePoint 2013
The history of the changes in the record is logged and controlled by SharePoint 2013 (e.g Audit log)
System Messages
Due to business requirement, not all transactions must have a popup message. The popup message is displayed only for common transaction such as after record is created or edited and for deleting confirmation.
Login Security
Due to business requirement, the password does not have expired duration. Active Directory Server controls it.
CPP System Administrator role
CPP System Administrator is responsible to manage and monitor day-to-day operation, including hardware and software. Hence, the system administrator must have a knowledge on Sharepoint, network and server/SMTP configuration
SharePoint Administrator role
This role is NOT in the scope of CPP 2013 Lite version This roe is a person who is solely responsible for configuration and maintenance of SharePoint Server or a Farm, included: Installing, configuring, maintaining, upgrading and managing a SharePoint
Server or a Farm. Configuring all service applications Creation of a Content DB and maintaining it. It involves maintenance of
various logging databases in SQL Server. Assignment of proper permission levels for all users of the site as well as
configuring anonymous access if required. Configuring timer jobs depending on business requirements, if any. Knowledge of powershell is very important for a SharePoint Admin Solid understanding of IIS, Active Directory and Mail Configuration.

Audit Logs record user-initiated activity in an application. They are a trail to establish accountability and responsibility processed transaction. The audit log featured in the CPP 2013 Lite Version Product system depends on the SharePoint 2013 technology feature. Note* Refer to Chapter 10

The scope of audit is on the corporate, professional & strategic member record.
The history of data medication can be viewed via Sharepoint List/Library audit log
SSL Certificate
SSL is used to secure credit card transactions, data transfer and logins information. The security for CPP 2013 Lite Version Product depends on the security provided by the SharePoint 2013. It is advisable for user to have SSL Certificate to further strengthen the network security

There is no undo function in the CPP 2013 Lite version except for Membership, Product/Services Registration & Automated Product/Services Matching modules.

This Corporate Online Application feature is to enable Malaysian registered and non-Malaysian registered status companies, who are interested to participate to become CPP member online.
2 Corporate Membership Status Maintenance
This Corporate Membership Status Maintenance feature is to enable Content Admin to view existing corporate member list, approve or terminate (maintain) any company membership status. This will include payment status update features. The system also would be able to provide a preventive control on payment made when member pay for their membership fee.
3 Corporate Member Login
This Corporate Member Login feature is to enable corporate members to login into CPP by using their valid username and password.
4 Corporate Profile Update
This Corporate Profile Update feature is to facilitate corporate member to update / maintain their own corporate profile information.
5 Corporate Directory Listing
This “Corporate Directory” feature enables the Public and all CPP Members:

This “Product / Services Registration” enables Corporate Member to register their company’s product / services for namely “Company Showcase” features. All the products / services information / data registered here would be displayed in a detailed / specific “Products / Services” page in “Company Showcase” feature.
7 Automated Products / Services Matching
This “Automated Products / Services Matching” feature enables CPP Corporate Members (as Buyers) to streamline their search result on products or services for their procurement needs. After relevant information has been entered, this feature would find possible matches between supplied and demanded products / services. The relevant information is submitted as a “Demand Request”. The matched result is send to the users via notification system (i.e. e-mail). It is required for the system to provide ease of access to the matched results.
8 Download & Upload Centre
Upload Centre feature is to enable Content Admin or member to upload related document into CPP. Download Centre feature will be a one stop centre for Member to download an item / a document which has been uploaded in Upload Centre. It will be the knowledge base for the portal users especially the members whom will benefit the most from it.

9 FAQ “Frequently Asked Questions” or “FAQ” feature is developed to display commonly asked questions and the answers as well, to CPP users. In other way it can also be able to assist the Content Admin role to organize / maintain common questions posted by users. All users shall be able to view FAQ features. All questions and answers shall be organized in categories. i.e. CPP membership, certification related etc. Content Admin role shall be able maintain the existing FAQ list and consolidate the common questions and answers consistently.
10 Links Links feature is to provide users with external linkages of related sites. E.g. ISTQB, MOSTI sites
11 Basic Search Function
Basic Search Function feature is enabling all users to search all sorts of related information in the CPP.
12 Event Calendar “Event Calendar” feature enables all public user regardless member or non-member (public) to obtain information on upcoming, recent and past related
13 Bulletin “Bulletin” feature enables Content Admin to post relevant news or announcements that he/ she would like to publish to Public. It provides a ‘’Bulletin Board’’ where Public can view news on namely conferences, seminars, road shows, trainings, exams, announcements, promotions etc.
14 Individual Member Online Application
Individual Member Online Application feature is to enable public to apply and register to be a member online, whom is interested to participate in portal of testing industry community
15 Register Certified Professional Member
Register Certified Professional Member feature is to enable Content Admin to register Certified Professional to become a member.
16 Individual Member Login
Enable members to login into portal by using their valid username and password.
17 Individual Member Profile Update
Member Profile Update feature is to facilitate member to update / maintain his/her profile information. It also allows student to change membership type to “Professional” after s/he complete the course. Content Admin will approve new membership type application
18 Certified Professionals Directory
Displaying list of members whom is a Certified Professionals by certification type / level such as CTFL, CTAL or CPRE.
19 Blog Enable member to provide commentary or news on a testing related subject. The member might be invited to provide the commentary. It also provides the ability for CPP members to leave comments or ask question being as an interactive format for a blog. Like Forum, Content Admin is able to monitor and ban member who posted an unethical / immoral (i.e. racist) statement.

20 CPP 2013 Lite Version Homepage
This feature would improve the existing portal homepage for all public user regardless member or non-member (public) to obtain information on events, bulletin, directory listing (Corporate, Product/Service, Certified Professional) and others. It’s allow Content Admin posts the announcement or latest news at homepage The Splash page also displays Facebook and Twitter icon for social networking.
21 Poll This feature would enable public (member or non-member) to cast their vote for an online poll being featured in the system by Content Admin.
22 Advanced Search
This feature is an extended feature of Basic Search Function. Unlike Basic Search Function, this Advanced Search would offer more options for user to search for.
23 Academia Section
This feature would provide the opportunity for academia community to elevate and promote their involvement in software testing industry. For the time being, this section / column for academia would only display limited content on relevant software testing scope.
24 Event Sub-Site
This extended “Event Calendar” feature enables all public user regardless member or non-member (public) to register participation online for any related event organized by Portal Owner. It would also offer external site connection capability whereby to provide additional information (i.e. book hotel, view map or weather condition etc.) for event goers. An administrative role (i.e. content admin and system admin) shall be able to administer this event information in order to maintain event sub-site and publish to public etc.
25 Video This Video feature is to enable Content Admin to upload and display video for public view.
26 Photo This photo feature is to enable Content Admin to upload and display photo gallery about client events for public view.
27 Special Interest Group (SIG)
This Special Interest Group feature is to allow Content Admin to create specific group for client Special Interest Groups (SIG). The purpose of this feature is to develop and serve a platform for special group to communicate, collaborated & sharing the knowledge/thought among the team members in same group. Therefore, to develop a one stop centre for special members, portal provides certain applications to them such as Download/Upload to share the document/thought, Forum for discussion area, Event calendar to share the activity calendar and bulletin for announcement/news.

The purpose is to enable the users to apply membership as a Strategic Member to receive some privilege in the portal

17. Repeat step 15-16 for the second database file and ensure the file is log file type.
18. Click OK to continue. 19. Wait the process until the restoration database is complete.

Glossary Table below describes the terms used in this document.
Term Description Academia The internationally recognized
establishment of professional scholars and students, usually centered on colleges and universities, who are engaged in higher education and research.
Active Directory Stores information about a variety of objects in the network.
Application Server Server on which to created applications that are utilizing such as database and web service.
Central Administration A special SharePoint site where an administrator can manage all sites and servers in a farm that is running Microsoft® SharePoint® Products and Technologies.
Database Server Database server will have one or more database hosted such as SQL Server.
DMZ (demilitarized Zone) A conceptual network design where publicly accessible servers are placed on a separate, isolated network segment. The intention of a DMZ is to ensure that publicly accessible servers cannot contact other internal network segments, in the event that a server is compromised.
