KEY: Tell Me About Love Friend Anthony Anaxagorou We’d seen each other in the ugliest forms Fighting, broken-nosed, laughing with BLOODY gums and TORN skin. [BEAT] We’d seen each other heartbroken, drunk somewhere- gripping the neck of a bottle as if, it were our own suicide fault. [BEAT] I had seen him asleep- assured that NOBODY could EVER hurt him ALIVE in his dream POSITIVE that a nightmare could be shaken off [take small breath] Or, that a good thought could be prolonged, just to be remembered… until… tomorrow. = Spoken with sadness/ despair = Spoken with sweetly = Spoken neutral = Spoken in growing distress = Spoken in distress – shaky voice = Spoken almost in a whisper – sad/regretful tone = Spoken in slight disgust – angry but sounding tearful BOLD = focus on word – raise voice (slightly) [italic] = notes
