Appointment Once it is time for your appointment with the provider, you have a couple of options:
1. use your phone with a downloaded app (this method is the most simple) *** it is highly
recommended you connect your smart phone to WiFi rather than using your cellular network
2. use your laptop computer with a built in camera and speakers (audio/video)
App instructions:
If you want to use Zoom via the app, prior to your meeting, go to the iTunes App store or Google Play store and
download ‘Zoom Cloud Meetings’
a. When time for your appointment, Click ‘join’ a meeting, enter your meeting ID. **Note: Please
type in your name into the name field so provider will recognize when you arrive
pg. 3
b. Choose join WITH VIDEO and choose ‘Call using internet Audio’. If asked, please allow access to
microphone and video.
c. You will be placed in the virtual waiting room until the provider admits you into the virtual exam
room
d. If you cannot hear your provider when the video starts, check your audio settings to make sure
you are not on mute.
**When using the app, if the icons disappear, simply tap the screen and they will reappear. For a helpful video

connected. Choose either computer audio or phone call. If you choose phone call, you need to
dial into the number provided. ** when prompted, please type in your name so the provider
will recognize when you arrive
If you hear an echo, you are most likely dialed into both the computer and the phone- if this happens, you can
mute your computer and just use your phone’s audio.
**Make sure your camera is enabled.
