SAFE CLOUD ACCESSThrough the application sandboxing technology, the cloud connection of each application can be controlled in detail. The bandwidth can be throttled between applications to guarantee access to key components. The connection can be direct, fire­walled or even tunneled to ensure a safe connection. The platform takes care of the tedious details sur­rounding rerouting between different connections such as Bluetooth, Wi­Fi, modems, or USB dongles, providing a centralized policy to optimize access and connection costs.

IF PIXELS ARE AVAILABLE – USE THEMMost telematics components are not attached to a screen, but some units are used to interface their applications to a user interface. If your telematics application requires it, PELUX® Telematics can be configured to support a full application and HMI framework supporting Qt and HTML based applications. The software architecture is optimized to secure the shortest path from silicon to pixel and thereby provide optimal performance to deliver a stunning UX. Tools are provided to ensure a process that enables optimal collaboration between design­ers and software developers.

APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT TOOLINGPELUX® Telematics provides an ADK based on Eclipse technology, making it easy to develop app­lications using C and C++ for deployment onto the target system. The ADK comes with cross compila­tion and remote debugging capabilities, as well as tooling for building apps for distribution.
