Thanh Nguyen, FNP Family nurse practitioner

Thanh Nguyen enjoys having the opportunity to assist patients when they need it. “My most important role is to help patients make good health decisions,” she says, “and to partner with them to help them stay healthy.”

Thanh’s philosophy of care is to help patients “be happy, stay happy” in both physical and spiritual health. Committed to listening carefully, she enjoys working with people of all ages across their life span.

She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Science in Nursing from Oregon Health & Science University. She is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

Away from the office, Thanh enjoys outdoor activities such as walking and hiking. She has two children and speaks Vietnamese fluently.

Larlene Dunsmuir, FNP Family nurse practitioner

Larlene Dunsmuir enjoys working together with her patients as they recover from an illness or strive toward their health goals. “I believe my role is an interactive one – working with patients to help them understand their treatment options or discussing ways to optimize their health,” she says.

Larlene earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing as well as a Master of Science in Nursing in adult health from the University of Portland, where she also received a postgraduate certificate as a family nurse practitioner. She is board-certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

Away from her practice, Larlene enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons. Her interests include reading, gardening, knitting and traveling.

Lindsay Kleps, FNP Family nurse practitioner

Lindsay Kleps chose to become a nurse practitioner to help guide patients in their health care. “I am a resource to them and hope that together we can decide on the best path of health for each as an individual,” she says. She decided to focus on emergency medicine and immediate care to help patients through intense or stressful situations.

In her practice, Lindsay emphasizes communication and patient education. She enjoys working with patients from varied backgrounds and getting to know their stories.

Lindsay studied at Oregon State University and the University of Portland; she received both a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Portland. She is board-certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and has more than 10 years of experience working in emergency care.

The native Oregonian was an OSU cheerleader and remains an avid Beavers fan. She enjoys running, walking her dog, and spending time with her husband and three daughters.
