The TV station is represented by its Programming Director Marie-Therese Kreidy transmitting the TV’s message through communicating, exchanging opinions with the participants and supporting the cul- ture of dialogue, peaceful communication and openness to all other means of communication and especially the social media that are highlighted in the conference and following the great role they played in the current spring of Arab revolutions. In addition, the conference discusses the media’s role regarding the interfaith and intercultural dialogue, within 5 public work meet- ings that are different from the opening and closing meeting. The conference gathers participants of the hosting country and 250 participants including religious men, academic people and journalists from outside Qatar and from the monotheistic relig- ions. They suggest their opinions in order to spread the culture of these means’ positive use. It is important to note that the Doha International Center for Interfaith Dialogue works to be an example in achieving the peaceful coexistence among religions and a world reference in the domain of interfaith dialogue. As well, it aims to be a symposium enhancing the culture of the peaceful coexistence, accepting others, activating the religious values, tackling the causes and problems affecting humanity and expanding dialogue to embrace the life aspects interacting with religion and to encompass researchers, academics and who take care of the relation between the religious values and the life matters. His Beatitude called them to be the message and witness inside and outside their society, mentioning the circumstances in the Arab World and the current revolutions especially in Syria and the massa- cres in Egypt. As well Patriarch Laham asked about the possibility of a future vision regarding these revolutions, otherwise division, bloodshed and destruction are evident. As well, His Beatitude consid- ered that the Human Rights Arab Charter is the solution to deal with these exceptional circumstances “It’s important to listen to the youth, consider deeply the situation and understanding it well… We are called to be the first and turn these revolutions and bloodshed into a positive energy with which we develop our society and fulfill our children’s ambitions. Fr. Joseph Weresensky and the World Day for the Refusal of Misery Knowing misery from his early age, he learned how to confront it with courage and pride. Joseph Were- sensky (1917- 1988), the founder of a non- governmental organization to fight poverty called A.T.D. Fourth World”. With activists in the Human Rights, he launched “the World Day for the Refusal of Misery” in October 17 th , 1987 that was acknowledged officially in 1992 by the UN calling it the World Day for the Eradication of Poverty. The United Nations have expressed, days ago on this occasion, their solidar- ity with the poor and declared that only a development that does not forget anyone is sustainable. Fr. Joseph inspired a large group of people and passed away in February 14 th , 1988, leaving his words and deeds as a heritage to humanity.

This icon shows St Laondius who was a Christian brave soldier in the Ro-man Army during the tenure of the Emperor “Fasbasyanos”, was pious and used to distribute military food over the poor. (1931- 1937)

He was the 1st patri-arch enthroned after the genocides. He was

poor, and was called “the Good Father” by his people for his kindness and humbleness. He sat at the patriarchate’s entrance when receiving the believers. He managed to help the Holy See in building a new patriarchal palace in Jeitawi- Beirut.

This story was investigated and pre-sented by Fr. Hareth Ibrahim. It is an inquisition of an old Arabic handwriting at the Monastery of St Catherina in Sinai tracing back to the 10th century after Christ. Besides being a part of the

Christian Arab literature, it highlights the different aspects of the history of the Arabian Peninsula and reminds of an Arab saint when people neglect the fact that the Arabian Peninsula that was described by igno-rance, before Islam was firmly established, gave many martyrs for Jesus- Christ.
