Day 03MASSADA DEAD SEA (B)Depart Tel Aviv via the Judean hills to the Dead Sea, the lowest place on earth. Roadside view of Qumeran caves, where the Dead Sea scrolls were found (visit not included). Visit a Dead Sea cosmetics products shop. Drive along the shores of the Dead Sea to Massada. There you will learn about the heroic story of the Jewish fighters. Ascend by cable car and tour the mountain fortress built by king Herod, where the zealots of the first century made their last stand against the Romans. Visit the remains of the walls, palaces, synagogue, water cisterns, mosaic floors, roman baths and other findings. Descend by cable car. Continue to the Dead Sea: Enjoy the unique opportunity to swim and float in the Dead Sea and cover yourself with the mineral rich mud that many believe has therapeutic effects. Day 03PETRA EXCURSION (B)After breakfast, visit the “Red Rose City” of Petra which was inhibited by the Nabateans from 300 B.C. Take a horse ride through the dramatic “Siq”. See the Treasury carved in pink stone and continue past the Roman Theatre, the Corinthian and Palace Tombs and the Roman Road.

Galilee to Nazareth, the town where Jesus spent his childhood. Visit the Church of Annunciation and the Church of St. Joseph. Continue, via Kana, to Tiberias, the lovely resort town. Day 03JERUSALEM OLD CITY - BETHLEHEM (B, D)Enter through one of the gates to the walled old city to visit the renewed Jewish Quarter, the Western Wall, the Temple area and the colourful bazaars. Walk along the Via Dolorosa and the Stations of the Cross, ending at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Drive to Mt. Zion and visit the tomb of King David, the room of the Last Supper and Dormition Abbey. Day 04BEIT SHEAN - NAZARETH - GALILEE (B, D) Leave Jerusalem and drive north via Jericho, the oldest city in the world. Travel through the Jordan Valley to Beit Shean. Visit the excavations of this beautifully preserved Roman city. Proceed

to Nazareth to visit the Church of the Annunciation and the carpentry workshop of Joseph. Move on to Safed, city of the Kabala, for a walk through the mystic alleys and the artists’ colony. Continue to a Kibbutz hotel for overnight.

Day 05GOLAN HEIGHTS - SEA OF GALILEE (B, D) Today you will drive to Golan Heights. Visit the former Syrian fortifications and the Druze villages. At 0815, the ship will sail for the three beautiful islands of the Saronic Gulf. Visit The Island of Poros, with the enchanting view and Hydra, whose amphitheater shape once served as a safe shelter for Saronic Pirates. From the decks, you will be able to admire the very special architecture and dramatic landscapes of this island. The old traditional stone houses and mansions of this place, silently stand witness to a long and turbulent history. Your final visit will be Aegina, the largest of the three islands. In the ancient times, this area was known as the navel of the world. Start your tour by passing from Castalia Spring. Visit the archaeological site, the Temple of Apollo, famous for its oracle and also do not forget the Delphi Museum, with its spectacular findings, including the bronze Charioteer, the Naxian Sphinx and the Statue of Antinoos. After the tour, drive to the beautiful traditional Arachova village for short free time. Here you can enjoy a stroll and explore the small shops selling local items like rugs, wine and cheese. In the afternoon, drive to Kalambaka town for hotel check in and dinner. Overnight in Kalambaka.

Day 04KALAMBAKA - METEORA - ATHENS (B)After breakfast, check out of your hotel and head up to Meteora area (approximately 4 hours drive). Day 01ARRIVAL CAPPADOCIA Arrive in Cappadocia. Transfer to your hotel for check in.

Day 02FULL DAY CAPPADOCIA (B, L, D)Early in the morning, an optional hot air balloon tour is available for an extra cost ($200.00) after breakfast, your classical Cappadocia tour will commence. First, get a brief lecture at the beginning of the Pigeon Valley about the region. Then visit the Uchisar Rock skyscraper and enjoy the panoramic view. Have a photo break at Uchisar Cevizli District. Visit the Painted Desert view of the Esenler District. Have a local set lunch at a luxury cave restaurant. Visit the Goreme Open Air Museum, a site included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. Visit the Carpet Weaving Centre and see the magnificent collection. Enjoy the Cappadocian wines at Turasan Wine Cave Stores. You may become a bit tired during the tour but will end it with a brilliant smile.
