Teknisk Produksjon AS and TP Connectors AS merged in December 2020 and become TP-Products AS including the brands TPC and Asker Subsea. TP-Products will proudly continue building and retaining jobs and competence in the Drammen region in combination with further developing our international footprint from today’s business in Europe, Asia, Australia and Americas.
From the very beginning in 1968 TP-Products has done high quality machining. Start-ing with simple lathe operations in the early days, to extreme lathe and mill operations today on behalf of other suppliers and of own products.
The oil and gas industry has been our most important market up to now followed by the Norwegian defense industry and other onshore based process industries. However, we are now also preparing for the future preparing for taking an active role within the wind, LNG, hydrogen and the electrification of the oil and gas industry with our products.
TP-Products will continue its journey through continuous improvement and develop-ment of our products meeting customer and industry requirements and needs.
So far, our clients met us with open arms, and we will work hard to keep it that way. We always guarantee the highest quality, both in performance and delivery.

TP-Products has, since 1968, performed a wide variety of machining operations,for the offshore industry as well as other industries.
TP-Products has manufactured Clamp Connectors since the late seventies and Compact flanges since the late eighties. There is no other machine shop with the same level of experience that TP-Products has with manufacturing these products.
TP-Products has 15 CNC Machines with up to 11 axes, TP’s primary competitive advantage is the continual renewal of these machines.
In-house testing facilities for pressure testing and functionality testing is available, as well as in-house, level 3 certified NDT. Other testing like Brinell hardness, Ferrite measurement of duplex materials, PMI and thickness measurement of weld overlay is performed in-house.
We can also perform functional pressure tests according to customers procedures, in our dedi-cated pressure test area we can perform pressure tests up to 2500 bar. In addition, we also have a temperature chamber with a range from -70℃ up to +180℃, where we perform PR2 testing according to API 6A
Quality comes first at TP-Products to secure that only high-quality products are manufactured. The dimensional control of the different components is performed by skilled operators with the most accurate Zeiss measuring machines available on the market. Today, TP-Products deliver mainly to offshore and onshore applications, but also to industrial applications as well as to suppliers within defense and aerospace.

TP-Products TPC Clamp Connector design is based on established industry standards as referenced by NORSOK NMj1 and NMj3. And the clamp connectors are interchangeable with the equivalent type of connectors available on the market. The TPC Clamp Connector is type approved by DNV GL

What distinguishes TP-Products’ bolted flanges from the traditional bolted flanges is that we are looking at bolts and flanges as a system where the flange design is made such that most of the forces pass through the flange surfaces and the bolts are thereby exposed to very low dynamic forces. They will not loose and the coupling stays tight, which again results in no need for bolt tightening and less corrosion. What we also see, is that our flange design reduces welding problems. Current flange diameters under evaluations are from 2m up to 10 m. Our experience from the Oil&Gas industry and harsh environment has been used as basis for the development and supporting that our design principles are proven technology. An example here is the flanges used in riser systems and installed in the splash zone in the North Sea which has been exposed to harsh environment and no maintenance has been needed during close to 30 years of operation. TP-Products are working with major players in the market to develop standardized solutions with cost-effective price during the lifetime of the wind farm.

ULTRA COMPACT CONNECTIONS
The Utra Compact Connections (UCC) range has been developed by our team of compact flange experts in collaboration with experts from the Norwegian subsea and process industry in order to simplify manufacturing, installation and maintenance of connections as well as reducing the overall cost.
The idea behind the TPC Ultra Compact Connections standard :
� Same sealring for both flange and clamp design (TPC UX bi-directional sealring) � Same pressure rating Clamp hubs and Swivel collars � Reduce variants of bolts, minimizing sizes and standardising lengths to be the same for flange-bolts
and clamp bolts � Reduce pressure-classes to Standard Duty(SD) and Heavy Duty(HD), same as for clamp connectors
(only 2 pressure-classes) � Achieve same level of tolerances for both clamp-connectors as for flanges. Standardizing on surface
finish, radiuses, and tolerances for both designs. � Hub ended valves can be assembled to flanged piping with a split Swivel ring
ULTRA COMPACT, ULTRA RELIABLE
UX Bi-directional Seal Ring
� A new bore- seal system � The seal system is currently being qualified
and type-approved for 15K design pressure, and 10000 ft water-depth in a variety of material grades. Temperature range is -29 to 135°C.
� The seal is about 1/3 of the total height of the size-seals used in today’s clamp connections
Inner seal ring (UX IR)– core component which is the pressure- containing main barrier
