2. CONDUCTED TESTS At the request of the customer, the rehearsal to be done to the samples is:

Determination of the dimensional stability according to the UNE-EN 1910:2013 “Wooden floor - parquet flooring, and wood panelling for walls and ceilings”

3. TEST Determination of the dimensional stability according to the UNE-EN 1910:2013

“Wooden floor - parquet flooring, and wood panelling for walls and ceilings” Preparation of tests specimen Specimens are the pieces of flooring taken at the time of preparation of the first supply, they are entire elements, that is to say, without any changes. Ten specimens have been tested, randomly obtained among all the specimens received. Specimen conditioning Before specific climate exposure, the specimens to test are conditioned in a temperature and humidity controlled room to about 20 degrees and 65 % HR to reach the hygroscopic balance. Once the tests specimen done, the established measures are taken regarding dimensions and deformations.

The following specimens are exposed to a specific humid climate (23º C and 85 % HR) during 4 weeks and the measurements are taken again. Once the measures are noted, the specimens are exposed to dry climate (23º C and 30 % HR) during 4 weeks and subsequently the established measures are taken. The accumulated dimensional variations related are calculated by applying the following formula in each direction:

- Crowning/Cupping: The average absolute value of the crowning/cupping is related to the average absolute value of the width for each climate.

- Face bending: The average absolute value of the face bending is related to the average absolute value of the length for each climate.

- Edge bending: The average absolute value of the edge bending is related to the average absolute value of the length for each climate.

At the same time, an extra plank has been introduced in each cycle, for determining moisture content in each climate exposure. This moisture content is determined according to the following standard:

Determination of the moisture content by the drying oven technique according to

the regulation UNE-EN 13183-1:2002 ERRATUM:2003 / AC:2004 A specimen which includes the section for each piece is taken. The sample has to have 20 mm minimum thickness in the fiber direction. Samples are weighed after their collecting. Afterwards they are dried at temperature (103±2)ºC, until obtaining the difference of mass less than 0,1 %, between two successive weighing in an interval of 2 horas. The samples are weighed after being dried by oven technique and the Moisture Content is calculated by the following formula:

4. RESULTS “The expanded uncertainty of measurement is obtained by multiplying the typical uncertainty of measurement by the coverage factor k = 2, for a normal distribution, which corresponds to a probability of approximately 95% coverage. Determination of the dimensional stability according to the UNE-EN 1910:2013

2. CONDUCTED TESTS At the request of the customer, the rehearsal to be done to the samples is:

3. TEST Determination of the dimensional stability according to the UNE-EN 1910:2013

“Wooden floor - parquet flooring, and wood panelling for walls and ceilings” From the report number 057987, previously done (completed in May of 2016), it has submitted to the parquet strips under request at an extra cycle humidity of 25% RH and 23°C for about 15 days. Subsequently, measures have linked this dry cycle with 057987 measurements report. The accumulated dimensional variations related are calculated by applying the following formula in each direction:

- Face bending: The average absolute value of the face bending is related to the average absolute value of the length for each climate.

- Edge bending: The average absolute value of the edge bending is related to the average absolute value of the length for each climate.

RESULTS “The expanded uncertainty of measurement is obtained by multiplying the typical uncertainty of measurement by the coverage factor k = 2, for a normal distribution, which corresponds to a probability of approximately 95% coverage.
