What is ICT?

ICT stands for Information and Communications Technology. It includes all electronic devices used to communicate.

Progress The use of the internet can help many communities where normal method around that community hadn’t worked. This happened in a small town in the Andes where there was a seemingly unstoppable infestation of ants. They posted there problem online and soon received an answer on how to solve their problem. That is an example how ICT can help many communities.

In order for ICT to be distributed to 3rd world countries, people must not only be able to access computers, they must be able to access the internet too.

While technology can help nations a lot, there are still many problems with it.While some nations can afford helpful technology to help them advance, most of the countries that have access to ICT are already in 1st world countries. This creates a bigger gap between 1st and 3rd world countries.
