• I used this website to write my blog on. • It allowed me to be creative as you can choose the template,

fonts and colours.

• I also used the Blogger app on my iPad app so that I could have quick access Blogger, allowing me to upload photos straight from my iPad to my blog.

SlideShare

• I used SlideShare to upload my PowerPoints so that I could embed them onto my blog .

Google and Gmail

• I created my own Gmail account so I could use blogger and YouTube.

• I also used Gmail to sent myself photos and PowerPoints.

Sciptly

• We used Sciptly to create our scripts so that it would be in the correct format.

• This app allowed us to include the aspects we needed in our scripts.

• (e.g. shots, screens, dialogue, timing).

Powerpoint and Prezi

• I used PowerPoint for most of my assignments in order to present the information and work clearly and neatly.

• I also used Prezi which is a similar product.• I felt that it was interesting for the viewer, however there

were some limitations as to the amount of text you can write in each box.

BBFC

• I uses this website to find out about different ratings and what they each consist of. This helped me in classifying my own opening title sequence.

• Also, I found out about what I could or couldn’t show for my age rating (15+).

YouTube

• I used YouTube to upload videos so I could embed them onto my blog. (e.g. Drafts and some evaluation questions)

• I also used it to watch other student opening sequences, as well as finding tutorials and finding out about different shots.

• I used this website to find out some information about some films. (e.g. film genre, audience feedback, production and distribution companies).

Wikipedia

• Also, I used it for general research.

• I used this website to get inspiration for my own opening sequence by watching example opening sequences.

Freeplay Music

• This site allowed us to search for our own music and sound effects for our opening sequence.

• However, we had to ensure that the music and sound effects we used were all royalty free or copyright free.

Final Cut Pro

• We used Final Cut Pro (which is an editing software) in order to edit all our footage and put it all together.

• We used it for all three drafts.

iMovie

• Also, I used iMovie to edit some of our evaluation questions.

• (e.g. the news report for evaluation question 1 and the radio show for question 3).

Photo Booth

• On the Macs we used Photo Booth, in order to film our comments for evaluation question 7, which was about our preliminary task and the final draft of our opening sequence.

• I used this website to read some articles from MediaMagazine.

• Here, I obtained some ideas for our opening title sequence.• I learnt a lot about the media industry as well as the ratings

of films (about how the rating need to be re-evaluated from time to time.
