The weight and other physical parameters will be checked during inspection on sampling basis.

16 Marking Each safety shoe shall be embossed with: (a) Size (c) Manufacturer’s Identification mark(b) IS Number (d) Month & Year of Manufacturing

17 Guarantee All shoes shall be guaranteed for one year for any material or manufacturing defect from the date of receipt, last batch of any lot, at stores and will have to be replaced by new one, at no extra cost to NTPC / its JV / Subsidiary. Free replacement by a shoe(s) of similar specification & quality within two months from the date of mail / letter intimating about manufacturing defect with photograph”. Copy of test certificate authenticated by Quality Department of the manufacturer should be mailed prior to dispatch of the shoe(s) as clearance for dispatch.

18 Packing a. Supplier shall arrange suitable packing of the shoes in card boardboxes. Quoted rate shall include all packing and forwarding charges.Each shoe shall be packed in cardboard box along. Number of suchboxes shall then be packed in a box of size that is ease to handle bytwo persons.
