Audio General Information

The speaker system is driven by one Meyer Sound Galileo 616 processor. This allows the venue to work with a variety of FOH consoles to drive the system. We request at least Left, Right, Fill, and Sub feeds from the FOH console, but we can accommodate a number of different configurations.

For all amplified performances, the entire stage floor is carpeted with carpet color matched to the natural floor.

The Palladium has (2) Front of House (FOH) Positions, permanent and secondary. o The permanent FOH position is 75’ from stage on the house right aisle. This

position houses the in-house FOH console. o The secondary FOH position is located 75’ from stage in the center of the

house, and is utilized for performances traveling with their own consoles/equipment.

If you decide to use your own equipment and bypass our infrastructure, a snake of at least 300 feet will be needed to run from stage left to the FOH mix position.

There is a 200 Amp, Isolated Ground power supply for Audio. This company switch is located in the stage left anteroom. Please see the electrics section for more information.

o The in-house PD includes 8 feet of feeder onstage pre-run.

On stage monitor equipment is setup stage left in order to access the cable pass-throughs and dedicated power.

Acoustic Control

Stage Carpet o For all amplified performances, carpet is deployed across the entire stage

area. This cuts down on the transmission of acoustic information to the floating stage floor.

o The carpet is commercial grade with a rubber backing to prevent slipping, and is color matched to the natural Brazilian cherry finish of the stage floor.

Area Rugs o There are various size area rugs available for use.

Auralex ProMax (http://www.auralex.com/product/promax/) o The Palladium has (6) Auralex ProPanels in inventory.
