neworld class solutions, driven by you.
HIAB 435K CraneBy offering the user access to the 8th story, the HIAB 435K crane complements our market leading four and six story models. With an impressive 280,200 ft-lbs of lifting capacity and a vertical reach of 92 ft, the HIAB 435K will take your building materials and business to new heights.
The HIAB 435K comes standard with the
HIPRO control system which offers several
safety and performance functions. When
approaching an overload condition the crane
will give the operator an audible and visual
signal at 90% and at full capacity the crane
will stop all radius increasing functions. Only
functions that will reduce the crane’s lifting
radius will be allowed. To reduce the dynamic
loading on the crane’s steel structure,
the Automatic Speed Control (ASC) will
progressively reduce the vertical speed of the
crane, when the capacity is between 80%
and 100% of maximum. This will prevent the
operator from making fast movements under
these conditions, which is very important
especially when your boom is 90 ft in the air.
Advanced control system
With a vertical reach of 92 ft, the HIAB 435K achieves new heights in performance and productivity.
Complete load sensing hydraulictechnology is standardThe HIAB 435K’s hydraulic system features ground breaking technology.
The pressure compensated, load sensing Valve 91 M was designed by HIAB
for the sole purpose of being the ultimate truck crane control valve. When
combined with a variable displacement piston pump you’re getting the
highest level of speed, precision and efficiency available.
During operation, the oil flow demands of the crane are constantly changing. The
pump can respond smoothly from a demand of 3 gpm to 35 gpm in milliseconds.
By making only the oil flow that the crane needs, no energy is wasted. Wasted
energy created by many conventional fixed pump systems causes unnecessary
heating of the hydraulic oil resulting in excessive wear and tear to the hydraulic
system, greater consumption of diesel fuel when operating the crane and higher
maintenance costs.
On average, a HIAB drywall crane with its hydraulic system and
variable pump, will consume 325 gallons less diesel fuel per year
compared to other models using fixed displacement pumps. Not
only does this save you money, but it also saves our environment
7,200 lbs of unnecessary carbon dioxide. Over several years, that’s a
saving you can feel good about.
With 280,200 ft-lbs of lifting capacity, the HIAB 435K can be used for a variety of tasks. Shown here, the crane is able to lower this small dumpster from the 8th story and transfer the waste to another container far from the truck.
With nearly 80 ft of horizontal reach, the HIAB 435K can handle 1,760 lbs all the way out horizontally. The HIAB 435K can handle a load of 4,500 lbs, 40 ft out and 80 ft up and if you reduce the radius, it will take the load right up to 92 ft.
The crane has a sturdy, double telescoping inner boom and four telescoping outer boom extensions which gives the crane its awesome reach and still retracts over a 24’6” bed.
CombiDrive2, HIAB’s fully proportional radio remote control, provides an extra dimension in safety and versatility by allowing the operator to take up the best vantage point possible. This is essential when lifting loads to extreme heights.
The CombiDrive2 comes standard with a 100%, 60% or 30% speed switch. This allows the operator to easily change the speed of the crane — especially useful when adjusting heavy loads at long outreaches while entering the building.

year warranty
3&5
Comes StandardSaying you are confident in your
product is one thing, warranting it is
another. The HIAB 435K comes as
standard with a 3-year warranty on the
entire crane and a 5-year warranty on
the structural parts.
If you maintain and use your crane
properly Hiab covers repair or
replacement of components for
3 years. In addition, in the 4th or
5th year, again assuming proper
maintenance and use, if a main
structural component fails Hiab will
cover the costs of the parts. Certain
normal exceptions (such as replacement
of consumables) apply.

Attention to detail — built-inAll the hose tracks are robust and well protected to prevent damage
from excessive road vibration in transport and contact with foreign
objects like tree branches and tie down straps. The crane has
23 ft wide stabilizers and comes standard with an extra set of rear
stabilizers for added stability.
