Overview
The purpose of the document is to provide instructions on installing EndNote X6 software. Endnote is a tool for searching online databases, publishing and managing bibliographies and references when writing essays and articles.
Technical requirements
Windows XP, Windows7 Internet Explorer, Chrome, or Firefox browsers installed
PC Instructions
1. Close all Microsoft Office Application before starting. 2. Log into Blackboard - https://bb-tuc.touro.edu

3. Under My Organizations click on “Student Resources.”
4. On the left side of the page click on Information Technology.

5. After clicking on the EndNote.zip link, notice at the bottom of your screen there is a timer, which will take about 2 minutes to download.

6. Using Windows 7: Once the download has been completed click on the “EndNote Zip File” at the bottom of the page.
7. Using Windows 7: Click on the “EndNote” folder

8. Click on the “EndNote” folder.
9. Using Windows 7 Click-on the license, another page will open close it and the files will begin to extract.

10. Click OK on the File “Conversion – License.dat file”.
3. Then click on the “ENX601Inst file, next click on “RUN”.

5. At this point you should see the “Licensee: __ __ User and Serial Number 5091602878” Click Accept.
6. Click Next Click to accept the license agreement then click Next

9. Updating System.

11. Once download has been completed open Microsoft Word. On the tab you will see “EndNote X6”
12. Click on “EN Go to EndNote”.
13. Now you’ve opened “My EndNote Library”.
