Electrical Engineering IPT Lead

Managed Electrical Engineering team activities on the ORS-1 satellite program throughout product development

phase. Led the team (12) to a very successful customer CDR; it was the key element that assured production

phase funding for the satellite by the government procuring agency. Reviewed and delivered CDRL/SDRLs.

Wrote the Electrical System Proposal that won the AFRL contract for development of a Data Acquisition &

Control System for NSCAP Balloon experiment. Led electrical system development effort.

Group Manager – Electrical Systems Engineering & Technology Development

As Group Manager on ESES ID/IQ contract, led 40 flight program tasks, supporting systems engineering and

technology development at NASA GSFC; total tasks value exceeded $125M. Reviewed and approved task plans

(work packages), and allocated resources. Monitored cost performances through 533 monthly reports and took

immediate corrective actions when necessary. Hired and managed new talent (including contractors), and completed

annual performance reviews of 80+ staff. Generated approximately $8M in new business. Coordinated program

activities with NASA Electrical Engineering Division Task Leads, Branch Heads, Chief Engineer, and COTR.
