This historic theatre and Chicago institution
first opened as the Lane Court vaudeville
and movie theater in the 1920's. In 1977,
we were transformed into Park West, one
of Chicago's best equipped multimedia
special events and concerts venues.
The versatility of this space makes Park
West the perfect place for corporate
receptions, fashion shows, benefit
concerts, charity galas, awards
ceremonies, launches, social events and
business meetings and presentations.
Audio/Lighting/Video Capabilities
Park West offers an extensive array of technical capabilities, which combine to form one
of the most impressive multi-media presentation systems in the meeting and special
events industry. No other facility in the Midwest can match our sophistication and
capabilities.
The entire system is designed to allow for maximum flexibility, accommodating
everything from the most complicated interactive multi-media presentations to a standard
rock concert.
Our video system outputs to two 12' x 16' video screens and 18 LCD monitors.
A complete video patch matrix and seven trunk lines run throughout the house allow you
to patch cameras, computers or any other video source into the system from anywhere
in the facility. Whether you simply need to play a video tape or DVD or run a graphics
presentation, Park West is ready to accommodate you.
Combined with one of the finest sound systems in the city, the superior acoustic design
of our facility and 75,000 watts of theatrical lighting, your show and your ideas come
through with the power and vitality that no other facility can offer.
