How the car powered: Spektronics X is powered by a reaction between hydrogen peroxide (H 2 O 2 ) and Ferric Chloride (FeCl 3 ). This reaction takes place in the reactor that will produce high-pressure oxygen (O 2 ) gas. At the beginning of the gas formation, it will be stored in the reactor up to a certain pressure. If this certain pressure has ben reached, the valve has to open. The gas flows in the pipe toward the piston to move it. Before the gas reached the piston, the gas will pass through the moisture trap and regulator in order to remove moisture and regulate the flow rate of the gas released. The gas will move the piston and the piston will rotate the wheels so Spektronics X car can run.
