LOUPOT EON compliant Press-Fit is qualified following the IEC60352-5 requirements. The definition of the terminal and PCB are described on the two below tables.

5. Mechanical characteristics
5.1. Max push-In Force The maximum insertion force is characterized for each PCB plating in the finished plated-through hole tolerance. The difference between the smaller and the bigger holes is 25N.
5.2. Min push-Out Force The minimum extraction force is characterized for each PCB plating in the finished plated-through hole tolerance. The minimal push-out force is higher than 20N.

5.3. Contact Replacement LOUPOT EON compliant Press-fit can be replaced 2 times (3 insertions). This operation can be realised by hand directly, but with high precautions. Indeed, this action must be done with an angle less than 5° around the terminal axis and without any rotation.
5.4. Climatic and vibration test The electrical comportment is qualified by the variation of contact resistances, before and after tests. This variation shall not exceed 0.50mΩ.

6. Press-fit insertion machine LOUPOT has a full range of automatic and semi-automatic machines to insert these kinds of contacts. LOUPOT EON compliant Press-Fit could be delivered in strip or in loose form. These Press-fit terminals are also able to be overmoulded or inserted in a plastic body to get a complete connector.
