Hochiki America Corporation provides its customers with reliable, highquality fire detection equipment utilizing the latest technology available.
Our new conventional NS detectors are dramatically small in size like theirpredecessor the original low profile conventional smoke detectors. Yetthey maintain the dependability Hochiki customers have come to rely on.This bulletin documents all the NS Conventional Smoke Detectors(SLR-24/-24V/-24VN/-24H, SLV-24/-24V/-24NSLR-835/-835H/-835HW*/-835B-2/-835B-2W*/-835BH-2/-835BH-2W*/-835B-4/-835B-4W*/-835BH-4/-835BH-4W*/,SIJ-24, DCD-135/190 and SOC-24V/-24V(WHT)/-24N).* W= Indicates white
The SLR/SLV/SOC series photoelectric smoke detector has acomputer- designed smoke chamber that can detect smoldering orfast-flaming fires. The SLR/SLV/SOC series has a wider range than other photoelectricdetectors. It's coverage extends into the range of the Ionization detector. This makes the SLR/SLV/SOC series a uniquely versatile smokedetector. The combination of a high signal-to noise ratio and sensitivity stabilitymake this sensor effective in a wide range of environmental conditions. Two indicator LEDS set at 180 degrees from each other offer 360degree viewing of detector status. In case of SOC, one indicator LEDoffer 360 degree viewing of detector status.Automatic built-in test feature. Indicates when chamber is dirty or ifsensitivity has shifted outside its intended range. It will automaticallyindicate its status with no testing.A hidden self locking feature (requires activation).Inter-changeability with SLK series and SIH series detectors.
