Application areasMASTER LEDspot LV MR16 offers up to 80% energy saving compared to halogen lamps and alonger lifetime of 30,000 / 40,000 hours. This is ideal for 24/7 applications to ensure minimum
maintenance costs and maximum energy savings.
Main focus on hotels, restaurants, cafes and shops, especially suitable for various applications
in the public areas such as:
Corridors / stairway / washroom
Lobby / reception areas
Display racks / window
Application notes Air movement mechanism (active fan cooling) with very low sound level (20 dB (A) typical) Operating temperature range is between -20 C and 45 C ambient
Only to apply in dry or damp locations and most of open xtures with MR16 GU5.3
xtures that offer sufcient space (10 mm free air space)
Not intended for use with emergency light xtures or exit lights
For use in xtures that can structurally support a lamp weighing one quarter kilogram
Only for use with 12 V AC supply, offered by both magnetic and electronic transformers
Please ensure installation follows the min & max load limit of the transformer, calculated using
the halogen equivalence (35 or 50 W) of the MASTER LEDspot LV MR16 (eg. a transformer
with min 50 W (or VA) can be used with one or more 10-50 W MASTER LEDspot LV MR16,
but is not recommended for use with the 7-35 W MASTER LEDspot LV MR16) Some IC-based transformers are known to cause performance issues with the
MASTER LEDspot LV MR16, though these types are very rare
