VISIO-VISIOWEB Upgrade: Blocked machine

We have found that after upgrading from VISIO, SW version 4.7.20, to VISIOWEB, the machine may stop during the restart phase, showing the following screen:

The problem is caused by a SW bug in an obsolete version of VISIO Bios. The solution to the problem is as follows:

1. Downgrade to VISIO, but to the latest SW version available. SW version 4.12.0 (use USB reset pen drive, code 0WR00788AA).

2. Upgrade once again to VISIOWEB (use USB reset pen drive, code 0WR00800AB).

IP Radio channel saving problem solved

SW version 5.31.4 solves a problem that may occur when saving IP Radio channels, if they are copied from one machine to another by transferring the data by USB pen drive. The problem occurs in the following way: the list of channels copied from the machine that has already been tuned in is saved on the machine to be programmed but with the loss of the first channel, as if it has been moved up by one position.

Problem for viewing videos with iPhone 4 32Gb

If you have problems viewing videos from iPhone 4 32Gb, where the time begins to run, the sound works, but there is no image, please note that the problem is caused by an Apple bug and not by VISIOWEB. The problem can be solved by restarting the iPhone.

Early damage to front lever bearings

Early failure of the bearing installed on the upper part of the lever shown in the figure below has been reported.

This is caused by the use of an unshielded bearing for a limited period of production. In the figure below, you can see the difference between the correct bearing and the unshielded version which deteriorate very rapidly.

Shielded Bearing CORRECT

Unshielded Bearing INCORRECT

If an unshielded bearing has been installed on the machine, it is advisable to replace the lever with one that has the compliant model fitted, even if it is not yet damaged or is only slightly damaged. The codes for the compliant levers are: Code Description W0005501AB-# Front left lever W0005502AB-# Front right lever Complete the code by replacing the “#” symbol with the colour you want.

Easy Chin Dip Installation

To prevent warning adhesive label (0E000511AC-#), to be applied to the machine after installation, from being thrown away with the packaging when unpacking the machine for installation, the label is now fixed to the pallet in the position shown in the figure below. The label in question is illustrated on the right in the figure below.

PECTORAL: Correcting/adjusting lever alignment

An eccentric (ref.1), shown in the figure below, has been added to the coupling between the lever and the frame. This change makes it possible to adjust the position of the levers when in the rest position so that they are aligned, thus correcting any misalignment due to the sum of errors caused by the tolerances.

Addition of the eccentric has also required modification of the frame, in particular the pin onto which the lever is fitted. It is now fixed by a screw (ref.2) on the top of the pin, replacing the previous metal ring. For this reason it is not interchangeable and can only be installed on machines with serial numbers later than SN M91311100134.

ABDUCTOR/ADDUCTOR: Breakage of tie rod connecting the levers

The problem is caused by the fact that, if the tie rod anchor screw becomes loose in turn causing a little excess play on the hole in the plate, over time during use the hole enlarges until the plate breaks. For both the Abductor and the Adductor, If the plate breaks, the solution shown in the figure below can be used to avoid having to replace the whole lever, using an extra support plate.

All the components required to put this solution into practice are available by ordering code R0006831AA-#, and indicating the colour variant you require in place of the # symbol. To prevent the problem from occurring, on the contrary, you need to ensure that the screw is always properly tightened and to do so we recommend using a torque wrench set on 50 Nm.

New solution for adjusting the seat (2)

The solution used for the seat adjustment system on machines with a height-adjustable seat has been further modified with respect to the instructions given in TN 2010/03. The new solution, shown in the figure below, involves fitting the end of the pin (ref.2), which is suitably shaped, into a slot in the tie rod (ref.1) and not locking it as previously with a nut.

PG03 / PG04: Backrest adjustment problems

To solve the problem that makes it difficult to adjust the position of the backrest on the above benches, the technical change shown in the figure below has been released.

In particular, a safety grub screw has been added to guarantee improved coupling between the lever and the two selectors; this grub screw must be tightened after carefully positioning the flat surfaces of the two selectors, highlighted in green, to ensure that they are parallel. The new solution is interchangeable only if the whole assembly in the figure below is replaced, using the codes in the table below, for the 2 benches on which the handle is used.

Hip Abductor-Adductor: Aligning the leg rest

The position of the pins that slot into the frame to fix the leg rest padding has been changed to make it possible to correct the alignment of this padding and rectify any misalignment due to lever tolerances.

In particular, the position of the pins shown by the arrows in the figure has been moved off-centre with respect to the padding so that by turning it one way up or the other, its position with regard to the lever changes. The code for this new version of padding, interchangeable with the previous one, is 0I000409AC-#, to be completed with the correct colour variant in place of the “#” symbol. The first machine manufactured with this new solution has SN MC0512000057.

CORE: wear of shoulder rest pads

The two shoulder rest pads have been strengthened to prevent premature wear. The code for the new pads is 0I001007AC-#, in which the “#” symbol must be replaced by the correct colour variant.

PRESS: “Power mode” release

A problem regarding the “Power mode” system release has been reported when it reaches the end stroke during the exercise. The problem was due to the fact that no upper end stops were fitted on the weight stack bars. The first machine manufactured with the end stops has SN MH20E11000199. If you encounter this problem and in any case if you find that the end stops are missing, you can order them with code 0G000043-GG (4 pcs for each machine), and fit them at the heights shown in the figure below.

Noise from speakers

A noise similar to a buzz may sometimes be heard, coming from the speakers positioned under the seat of the machine. This is caused by electromagnetic interference and disturbance on the amplifier also located under the seat. A filter has now been fitted to the power supply input to the amplifier to solve this problem. You can use this solution on machines that have already been installed by using code 0WR00957AA to order the filter and installing it as follows: 1. Remove the seat from the machine as described in the technical service manual. 2. Disconnect the power input cable on the amplifier that is circled in the figure.

3. Connect the cable that you have just disconnected from the amplifier to the filter and the

cable output from the filter to the amplifier, as shown in the figure below.

New model of HR receiver

The HR receiver fitted on the machine has been replaced by a new model. This solution is not interchangeable with the previous one, in that the new component is larger than the previous one and requires a change to the support for it and to the cable connecting it to the CPU. The serial number of the first machine manufactured with this new receiver is D9673Y12000144. This change may be made on machines with serial numbers previous to the one given above only on condition that all the parts listed below, including the cable for connection to the CPU, are ordered:

New TGS readers (3)

With reference to what was notified in TN 2011/01, regarding new models with 64K, 128K and 256K flash memories and related programming Firmware, please note that when there is no indication of memory size on the reader, it must be considered to have a 128K flash memory.

“WES” New Wellness Expert: USB reset pen drive Following the release of the new model of “New Wellness Expert”, which appears to be identical to the previous model but which uses a new WES 2009 (Windows Enterprise Standard) operating system and a number of new components like the CPU and the LCD display, which in any case do not change its characteristics and its operating modes, a new model of the USB reset pen drive has had to be released. To distinguish between the two configurations in this document, we will refer to them as the New Wellness Expert and the WES-New Wellness Expert. This new configuration cannot be identified by the product code but only by:

1) SW version BIOS ≥ 1.10 2) absence of the fan on the processor heat dissipator and presence of a card to reverse

the voltage polarity towards the LCD inverter (see photo below) 3) an SN ≥ E010V711000363 / E014V511000022 / E110V711000070 /

ED010V711000016.
