• It was the most valuable and consistently astonishing educational experience I've had at Boston College
• By far the best academic experience I've had • The preparation for the trip was rigorous, but when you get out to the Valley and
are able to sit down to dinner and challenge Venture Capitalists on their investment strategies, or ask CEOs how they plan to expand into the future, you realize how valuable the experience was.
• This was by far the most rigorous, challenging, and rewarding experience I have had during my time at school.… everything we learn has a clear connection to the dynamic world that we live in…
• Tech Trek changed my life • TechTrek is about real life experiences all the time • A unique way to learn, and something none of us will ever forget. • I have never learned so much in such a short time. • …after each visit, I came out feeling inspired
Student Comments
This was by far the most rigorous, challenging, and rewarding experience I have had during my time at school.
Host Comments• We were all so impressed with your students!! For undergrads, they blow you
away. • There was one young lady to my right, who asked some particularly intelligent
questions. Is she a finance major per chance? If so, could you ask her to send me her resume and I'll get it to the recruiters.
• I was really impressed by the groups. Lots of very high quality questions and real insights within the group.
• We would be flattered to have any of your students apply. • [My colleague] and I talked about how good it is that they come with background
info so we can elevate the discussion. • I hope I get invited to speak to your group next year... Your students are extremely
bright and inquisitive. A great combo and quite a challenge for me to keep up with them.
• We enjoyed the dynamic energy of the students and were impressed by their knowledge and savvy around venture and business.
• I was quite impressed at the level of their questions for undergrads! I mentioned to one student who was interested in my perspective on the i-banking track to feel free to call me. Please feel free to pass along my contact info.
We would be flattered to have any of your students apply.” – SVP, Cisco They’re better than the Wharton MBAs we interviewed last week” – Partner, Sequoia Capital We’ve not targeted recruiting at Boston College, but this group has asked better questions and been better prepared than any we’ve had to campus” – Manager, Facebook How can we hire more of your students?” – Sr. Manager, Microsoft Xbox Group I have to tell you, this year’s group asked phenomenal questions that hit to the heart of what we are working on as a company” – Sr. Director Strategy, Electronic Arts
