M32-2
The glass panels protect the terrace without spoiling the panoramic viewNot 100% hermetic
Considerations to be taken into account with the Moviglass Series M32 sliding enclosure:
- Maximum width of each panel is 700 mm. - Maximum height of the enclosure is 2,700 mm. - Maximum weight of 300 kg at one stacked end. - Maximum number of folding panels stacked at one side, depending on the width of the panel, is:
Width > 450 mm: 4 panels per ejector. Maximum of 8 panels stacked to one side. Width > 550 mm: 5 panels per ejector. Maximum of 10 panels stacked to one side. Width > 650 mm: 6 panels per ejector. Maximum of 12 panels stacked to one side. Width = 700 mm: 7 panels per ejector. Maximum of 14 panels stacked to one side.
Consequently the maximum number of folding panels stacked to one side is 14. This means that, if there are more panels, then they will have to be stacked on both sides, bearing in mind that the maximum weight of panels stacked on any given side must not be greater than 300 kg.
- For lacquered RAL range finishes, anodised or imitation wood grain, consult price.
- For any type of opening angle, consult price. - Before measuring up, check, where the enclosure is going to be installed, whether there is a railing, masonry columns or any other exterior or interior obstacle, as such will have to be indicated in order to ensure correct manufacture. - Although these are technically possible it is better to avoid angle-passing solutions. - It is possible to have the track either built into and flush with or superimposed on the surface.
The following risk factors must be taken into account for installations:
- Wind pressure in the area.
- Height of the installation from the floor, as the following will depend on it: glass thickness, number and dimension of panels and, should such be the case, the installation of an alternative system will be recommended.
Serie M32-2Sliding glass enclosures
Tempered glass:
- Is more resistant and less flexible than ordinary glass, e.g. in its response to gusts of wind or sharp knocks. - In cases of breakage the glass will shatter into fragments without sharp edges and will not cause injuries. - Tempered glass, without machining, avoiding the risk of breakage.
Advantages for users:
- Do not have vertical members. - By using MOVIGLASS enclosures you will minimise the maintenance requirements of terraces. - Protects from wind, noise or other inconveniences that prevent you from enjoying your terrace all year round. - Complete opening of the glass panels. - Cleaning the panels is easy and safe. - You will increase the temperature, taking advantage of the sun’s heat. - You can take advantage of the space without any visual obstacles.
Specific instructions:
- When the panels are stacked to one side all of their weight will be supported by a small part of the top frame. Make sure that this is firmly attached, as it is of vital importance for the operation of the enclosure. Hermetic:
While the glass panels provide protection against rain and wind the system is not 100% hermetic, as the terrace must have sufficient ventilation to avoid condensation resulting from humidity.
Ventilation:
The gaps between the panels must be 4 to 5 mm, to ventilate the terrace. In those cases where there is wind pressure it is advisable not to fit the seals between the glass panels, in order to conserve the safety margins.
Two-tone:
This is the only system on the market that allows for two-tone finishes.
Respect the exterior aesthetics of the façade. The enclosure can also be adapted to the interior decor.

SERIE M32 - 2
Tempered glass enclosures, without vertical members, made up of independent panels, allowing for full opening as they can be folded away and stacked at either end. Available in tempered glass with thicknesses of 6, 8 or 10 mm and polished edges allowing for safe
The panels open towards the interior and the bottom frame can either be superimposed or built into and flush with the floor. The members are fitted with horizontal spacers to compensate for any small level changes. Available in lacquered finishes (210 tonalities from the RAL Classic range), decorated in imitation wood grain andlacquered to simulate an anodised finish. All of the visible accessoriesare also lacquered in the same finish as the members.

MEASURING UPThe measurements must be taken of the span of the opening to be enclosed, taking as a reference the smallest measurements between the vertical (H = Height) and horizontal (L = Length) parallels.
These measurements are to be expressed in millimetres, bearing in mind that any member or pillar that is installed will alter the final measurement.
The solidity of the top part of the gap will be taken especially into account, with a view to the perfect anchorage of the top frame, given that the full weight of the enclosure must be supported by it.
LEVEL CHANGE U-PIECERemove the enclosure emplacement levels, bolt on the top andbottom level change U-pieces checking the exterior drains.
In the case of side frames see the complements sheet.
TOP FRAME Insert the top frame into the level change U-pieces and level them using an allen key and the spacers that are incorporated into the frame. Once levelled make them up.
The perfect levelling of this frame is very important as it is basic to the way the system operates.
Clean the interior of the sliding tracks well to eliminate filings.
69 mm
Note: For important level changes that cannot be compensated for by the spacer fitted to the top frame, fix sideways as shown in the diagrams using DIN 7981, 4.8 X 16 mm bolts.
BOTTOM FRAME Insert the bottom frame into the level change frame and, using the spacers incorporated into the frame and the gauge line up the bottom frame parallel to the top frame (which has already been levelled).
If no side frames are included see the complements sheet.
NUMBER OF PANELS The panels are numbered according to the direction in which they foldaway, which means if they are stacked on the left the numbering on the panels will run from left to right.
1st PANEL Inserting the first panel in the mortising of the frame and slide it to the stacking end until it comes up against the top stop.
Gauge
Check the level of the panel and locate the bottom stop and then fit itinto place, using the holes located to that end in the bottom frame.
Having fitted the first panel, set it at 90° to the frame and make up the retainer onto the top frame so that the panel hangs perpendicular to the frames. It is very important to fit this stop to ensure the correct operation of the enclosure.
Make up the stop in the holes located to that end in the top frame.
90°
FRAME COVERS Fit the ejector cover to the top member and the bottom cover in its corresponding frame. Bear in mind the position of the ejector, depending on the folding of the panels. Check the folding and operation of the panels by working the knob to unblock the first panel.
Once this has been done clean off any possible filings that may have been formed.
Fold away and stack to the left Fold away and stack to the right
INSERTING THE REST OF THE PANELS Insert the panels in reverse folding order. Start with panel no. 4, then panel no. 3 and finally panel no. 2.
2 3 4 2 3 41
The axle of the opening wheel must make contact with the long wing of the ejector. (Move the wheel sets if required)
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
NOTE:When the enclosure, has in the side two ejectors, the first in install over the top frame is the one that has the wheel entrance lower, and the second the one that has this entrance more above.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS If the panels are not correctly levelled and there are gaps betweenthem, either at the bottom or the top, it is because they have not been correctly levelled at this specific point. This problem can be solved by levelling the top frame along its whole length.
The panels do not close at the bottom The panels do not close at the top The frame is perfectly level along its whole length.
HINGE PIN Make absolutely sure that the hinge pin acts on the hinge in parallel and, at the same time, at both top and bottom of the panel.
Lu
Fitting the U-piece compensation.
Once the horizontal U-pieces have been fitted measure the gap and cut the side U-piece to fit It between the horizontal U-pieces.
After fixing the top and bottom frames fit the side frames, fixing them with spacers.
