The Noll Family: Anya, James and Liesl’s Summer Vacation

The Noll summer update is our vacation out to the Oregon coastline. The days mostly consisted of days on the beach “jellyfishin” with the kids (collecting jellyfish in a bucket), building sandcastles and seeing who could last the longest in that freezing cold Pacific Ocean water. The picture is on our visit to Sea Lion Caves which is largest sea cavethe world’s largest sea cave. The cave is home to a large population of sea lions, but as the kids say, “a great place to make a good acho!”

Norman Kronowitz’s Grandkids

The 3 younger ones (left to right) Daniel 2, Sophia 6 and Nathan 4. They are Jill & Craig’s kids and they live in Buffalo Grove. The oldest grandchild, Avraham Tzion,16, is visiting from Israel for 10 days. He left his parents, Marla & Mario, and 4 siblings behind.

The Butler family welcomes Kayla Michael and Raylyn Kimberly

We had our twins on July 28 at 5:51 and 5:52 p.m. Kayla was 4 pounds, 13 oz and her younger sister Raylyn was 5 pounds, 3 oz. Amy’s mom flew in from California to stay for two months and help with the twins, which has been great. My biggest surprise has been how much care they require. For little people that don’t do anything, they sure do take up a lot of time and a lot of energy!

The Wuestenfeld Family’s Summer Vacation

This is my Grandson, Devin James Perri, giving the “Heavy Metal” sign from the back of a Jet Ski in Minocqua, WI, on our summer vacation. We had the whole family: myself, my wife, Anne, our daughter, Debbie, her husband, Nick and son, Devin, our daughter, Mary, with her fiance Dan Prost. There were no injuries or scary moments, my goal was to en-sure that Anne had a relaxing time and that Devin really enjoyed the new experiences of sand, water and seeing the new animals at Wildwood Aminal Park.

Steve and Kristen Palmatier’s Wedding

Kristen and I got married on June 24th at St. Scholastica Church in Woodridge IL, followed by a reception at Broken Arrow Golf Course in Lockport. We spent six days in Florida for our honeymoon.

In the photo, my sisters, Kelli and Cyndi are the bridesmaids on the far left and Kristen’s friend, Jen, is her Maid of Honor. To my right is my brother in law and Best Man, Ray, followed by friends Jeremy, Justin and Kristen’s brother, Kyle.

The Van Wolvelear Family: Stephanie and Trevor

This picture was taken on our family vacation to Disney World in June 2011. It was extremely hot so we had fun at both Disney and the pool!

Stephanie is now in 8th grade. She does dance, piano and choir. Trevor is now in 5th grade, and he does karate, guitar and tumbling.

Paul TanTy HiTs THe Road

Paul Tanty has been designing our hydraulic systems for over 18 years, since he was hired in 1993 by Norman Kronowitz who knew Paul at Mi-Jack. Be-fore Mi-Jack, Paul worked at Caterpillar also in hydraulic systems and design.

Highlights: Paul’s most memorable project at CMAFH was a Hydrogear test stand, many years ago, which was one of the first integrated systems to pull all product categories (hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, framing, etc) into one design. Another highlight, he says, has been working with the terrific people at CMAFH!

Looking ahead: Paul looks forward to spending more time woodworking - building outdoor furniture, toys, and working models of contruction equip-ment. He also plans to tour the USA and see the places that he has always heard of but never had the chance to visit.

Employee Birthdays

CMAFH employees and their families enjoyed a beautiful, sunny day at Miller Field for the Brewers - Cubs game on August 28.

Lana Heaney coordinated the tailgating event, and she and her family cooked a lunch of mouthwatering burgers, brats and hotdogs. Employees brought potluck dishes, so there was no shortage of food! In all, 37 CMAFH employees attended - and their families...a total of 140 people!

While not quite a “rivalry,” the Brookfield, WI and Hanover Park, IL offices are known to support their respective home teams. In this case, it was a Brewers win! Better luck next time, Cubbies!
