HolidaysWe've always

wondered how spent holidays our parents, because biggest part of ours family traditions came out from the holidays. After we had asked about it, we found out that 50 years ago our parents didn't celebrate Easter or Christmas, but always walked on the streets with balloons at 9th of May or 7th of November.

CelebrationsAlso, it turned out that

only in nowadays it's popular to celebrate birthdays at bowling, cinemas or restaurants. In those days, they couldn't even think about it. People spent holidays at home, inviting relatives and friends.

Games and entertainment "But what you can do at

home?" - may ask any teenager. The answer is simple - stories and tales! In those days, funny stories and interesting tales were the most popular form of entertainment. And don't forget about cards! On every holiday you could take part in exciting card game! Card games aroused the competitive spirit, which created a wonderful friendly atmosphere.

FoodAnd what about

food? Homemade salads, potatoes, freshly baked bread, sweets and cakes - it is something which always was on the holiday table.

After comparing all of this with our current life, we understood that life was much more easier before: holidays were celebrated at home, not in public places, people were preparing food by themselves, not ordered it from the restaurant, and entertainment was more simple - just a usual card game.
