Organized by OPSS, previous icOPEN conferences have gathered worldwide participants in Optical and Photonic Engineering.Following the success of icOPENs, the icOPEN 2020 will be hosted by Jiangsu University, co-organized by Tsinghua University andASEM, supported by worldwide universities, associations and societies and held in Zhenjiang, China during October 16~19, 2020. icOPEN 2020 will provide a timely platform to discuss cutting edge technologies both in the research front and those closer toindustry, and promote optical and photonic engineering to a wider audience, and greater interaction between academia andindustries. Exciting highlight is the special tracks on 19th Asian Conference on Experiment Mechanics, which is a premierconference for nearly two decades.

Photomechanics is one of the most important and activeresearch directions of experimental mechanics, whichembodies the intersection and fusion of Optics and mechanics.Since 2002, Asian Society of experimental mechanics hashosted the Asian Conference on Experimental Mechanics(ACEM). In order to enrich the theme of the conference andincrease academic exchanges among different disciplines,icOPEN 2020 will include special tracks on Asian Conference onExperimental Mechanics to exchange the latest research resultsin this field.
