• Sit nice and straight on the piano bench.
• Keep your feet flat on the floor, if possible.

• Curve your fingers.
• Hold this ball in your hands gently.

• Release the ball while holding your fingers in place.
• Now place in the keys with curved fingers.

• Now you are ready to play.
• See how nice your fingers are curved over the keys?

• Your fingers have numbers
• Wiggle your thumbs (1’s)• Wiggle you 2’s.• Wiggle you 3”s (middle
finger)• Wiggle your 4’s• Wiggle you 5’s (pinky)

and black keys
• Find the 2 black keys
Teaching the Piano
• Keeping your fingers curved, strike the 2 black keys using fingers 2 and 3.
• Find all the 2 and 3 black keys and hit them.

• Find the 3 black keys on the piano.
• Play all the 3 black keys using finger 2, 3, and 4.

• Now let’s begin the first song.
• These keys go down. Play the notes as they go down the keyboard.
• They will make a lower sound.
