Teaching as Profession

It is the profession where in you can apply everything, it require a depth knowledge of subject content, and many other skills such as patient, leadership and creativity.

Being a teacher is not that easy, you are facing all circumstances and facing the diversity of the student. Their attitude and how they interact and why they act like this and that.

As a teacher you are not jus teaching, you must connect your life with your students as their second Mother. Touch their embodied Spirit. Stand as a model and as their inspiration. Give them guidance and teach them to be more determined.

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES OF A TEACHER

Personality is the sum of one’s personal characteristics. It is one’s identity. The teachers, more than any other professional, are momentarily subjected to scrutiny to the minutest detail and observation by those who associate with.

Personal Qualities

Passion- In teaching is a compelling force that emerges from one’s inborn love for children.

HUMOR- humor stands for anything funny, which elicits a smile, laughter or amusing reaction.

Values and Attitude- teacher are models of values. Whether conscious of them or not, values are exhibited implicitly and explicitly.

Patience- in teaching, patience refers to a teacher’s uncomplaining nature, self control and persistence.

Enthusiasm- teachers are full of energy and dynamism.

Why I choose Teaching as Profession?

I’ve never expect that I will choose this kind of Profession. Honestly I don’t like it, coz I feel tired when I feature out myself being a teacher. When I was in Elementary I have many ambition to become and teaching isn’t one of them. But now? I don’t know why I’m enrolling and still studying this profession. While studying the course of EDUCATION I realized how BLESSED I am.

I’m willing to give my life and take the risk for those less fortunate people who need my help. I realized the reason why “GOD” given me this opportunity. I’m so thankful and I’m willing to take my responsibility.
