3 - POLYPHONIC Easier from a Music teacher to spell4 - CARBONACEOUS Easier for a Science Teacher to

spell5 - REIGN There are 3 spellings for this word,

depending on its meaning6 - SEPARATE Pronounced differently whether used as a noun

or a verb, but spelled the same7 - INTEGRATE Second syllable the same as ‘separate’, but

spelled differently8 - DIARRHEA A hard word to spell is one you don’t see very

often9 - PARALLELOGRAM double ‘l’ confusing

10 - DIDGERIDOO spelled as it sounds as Australian Aboriginals have no written language
