Navigation When logged in, you will see every title your institution is trialling or has subscribed to. To help you quickly find all the resources appropriate for your course, you will find your titles conveniently grouped together in packages.

Use the ‘DL Navigate’ button in the top left corner of the page to view a list of courses grouped by subject. Select your course by clicking on the name in the list on the right or narrow your selection by using the subject* and level filters at the top.

* Magazine Archives and eMagazines appear under the Magazines ‘subject’ heading.

Access to the resources Our systems are designed to give you access to resources as soon as you have placed an order. You can also pre-order our Teaching and Learning Resources, and these will show with a ‘Coming Soon’ banner. As soon as the title is published, you will receive an automatic notification email with a reminder of your login details.

Online support 24 hours support is available when logged in. Access our suite of guides, FAQs and PDF tutorials by clicking on the ‘Help’ button or click on the orange question mark to access the step-by-step live tutorials that walk you through the key functionality.

Inside a course package Titles you have access to will show in colour, with the expiry date shown on the tile* Titles you have pre-ordered will show as ‘Coming Soon’. As soon as they become available, you will receive an automatic email to let you know.

*Student eTextbooks and Functional Skills expire from the point of allocation to a student. You will be able to view individual expiry dates in the title access window. eMagazine access does not expire.

Each Package may include one, some or all of the following:

Within each Package, you will see a dashboard with your most recent Lessons, Assessments and Groups on the left-hand side.

Teaching and Learning Resources Teaching & Learning Resources provide you with a bank of ready-made flexible resources, lesson planning tools, self-marking tests and assessment.

Click on the title name or Search icon to access the resources.

The resources are contained within the course library and where appropriate, they will follow the structure of the accompanying student textbook.

• Click on a Chapter, Unit or Topic from the left-hand side • The resources will appear on the right • Double click on a resource name and it will open in a new window Click this icon for an overview of the resources in this Unit and lesson, or section. The example below is taken from AQA Business for A Level (Marcousé) Teaching and Learning Resources.

If you have a subscription to both the Teaching and Learning Resources and the Whiteboard eTextbook, you'll find them fully integrated so that all the relevant resources are readily accessible when you need them. Whether you are presenting at the front of the class, or at home planning, you can access Teaching and Learning resources from Whiteboard eTextbook pages or pages of the Whiteboard eTextbook from the Teaching and Learning library of resources.

Scheme of Work Many of our Teaching and Learning Resources come with a Scheme of Work which can be easily edited. If one is available for your course, you will find this in the introduction section of resources.

Resources Dynamic Learning resources are matched to exam board specifications (where applicable) and written by respected authors and experienced teachers. Each course has carefully curated content and the variety of resources depends on what is suitable for the subject and level. Our wide range of multimedia resources, from interactive activities to animations and videos, audio files to diagrams, worksheets to tutorials, practical guidance to assessment guidance and transcripts to quizzes are great for introducing new topics and concepts, and supports teachers in finding new ways to engage their students.

Ready-made lessons Many of our Teaching and Learning Resources come with sample lessons, conveniently gathering together every Dynamic Learning resource or weblink that’s associated with that lesson and the assessment it supports. Teacher support resources (lesson plans, assessment guidance etc.) are provided too. If available for your course, these can be found in the Lessons section.

Tests and Tasks If available for your course, these can be found in the Tests or Tasks and Tests section Tests are automatically marked and are designed to help teachers assess students’ knowledge of key concepts and content covered in each lesson. Your course may also include Tasks, which can be used to establish whether students have or have not attained the lesson objectives outlined in the teacher resources.

Answers For some courses, answers to the questions are included in Teaching and Learning Resources, free of charge. Alternatively, many of them are freely available on the Hodder Education website. Please check the textbook product pages for more information.

Get me back To go back to the package dashboard, click on the bookshelf icon top left, just below the top menu bar.

To go back to your other subscriptions, click the DL Navigate button and select from the list of titles.

To go back to your Home Page, click the DL Navigate button and then ‘My Dynamic Learning’

Logging out To log out, please click on the arrow beside your name at the top and select the Log out option.

Sharing Access with students The easiest way to get your students set up on Dynamic Learning and share access is to send them a link so they can self-register –

• Click the 'Share' or ‘Allocate’ on the title icon • Click 'Create access link for students' If you want to share the other available parts of the package, check the box before creating the link • Copy and paste the link and email to students

Students who already have a login to Dynamic Learning will be able to view the title when they log in. Students who do not have a Dynamic Learning account will be invited to register, and will be able to access the title when they have clicked on the link in their account validation email*.

Find out more about creating student accounts *Students do not receive an email notifying them they have been assigned a title or a lesson. If you are not using the self-registration option, teachers will need to advise students of their username, password and Centre ID.

Expiry dates Your subscription expiry date will show on the title tiles as shown below.

If your title is available ongoing*, you can renew your subscription by clicking on the ‘Renew’ button in Dynamic Learning. This button will show 6 months before your subscription expires. Alternatively, you can renew on the Hodder Education website at any time.

*Please note that some titles will not be available for renewal because they are no longer relevant for the new curriculum.

Tablet Compatibility If a title is compatible with iPads, you will see the below badge on the title tile.

As a general rule, titles published after March 2014 are iPad compatible.
