Going online, going all in. From seven class Edublogs to 120 individual and class blogs…

The BOT and Principal wanted to make a shift in Pedagogy. Our goal was to have students connecting
and collaboration locally and globally. The school had class
(edu) blogs in the past these were of limited success.

Now: All Students 4-8 have individual blogs, all classes have blogs.
Teachers using blogger and Hapara Dashboard.

Two intensive days of PD with staff in holidays, ongoing support and having all the students start at once has
created student driven learning.

Communication and feedback greatly improving greatly.
Students able to network withoverseas students and classes.

Students are engaged and publishing and working
online.
In six weeks we’ve had over four hundred posts
and 20,000 page views of students work

Students are driving the learning supporting each other and moving learning forward. Build a successful learning community from within.
