Term 1 Week 4 2021 Principal’s Pen Dear Parents, Caregivers and Whanau, With Level 2 hitting us again this week we had to make some changes to our Year 5 and 6 overnight trips to Brod Bay. We weren’t able to use tents so we took the overnight part of the camp out but kept the day activities. Rooms 1, 2 and 3 spent a day each boating at Blue Gum Point and a day on the Kepler looking at birds and pests and then finishing off with roasting marshmallows! These are the memories that our tamariki remember and even with Level 2 restrictions they were still able to have a great time exploring our backyard! Nga mihi nui, Grant Excell Welcome To Our School! Sadie Sutherland and Brody Fry have turned 5!! They joined Mrs Harden and Mrs Gamble this week in Room 12. Basin Athletics ResultsWell done to all children who took part in the Basin Athleticslast Friday. For the senior children (aged 7 up), there werelots of new records set, especially in the running events asthese were all set again last year due to the new field andbeing correctly laid out.
