The two-wheel world acknowledges that TCX® plays the authentic leading role in the pursuit of motorcyclist protection. We were the first to patent truly efficient safety systems, and we have continued to fine-tune them to perfection year after year, one collection after the next. We have always certified our products in accordance with the applicable CE directives such as Personal Protection Equipment (EN 13634). Through this boot adjustment system the TCX® Centre for Research and Development has found the perfect solution for granting every rider excellent comfort as the system is able to adapt to any foot shape. The system comprises an air chamber made from antibacterial, antiallergenic polyurethane that allows you to vary the volume through a pump inserted in the top part of the boot. The air chamber is divided into areas of differing thicknesses, designed to follow the shape of the instep and shank in the best possible way once inflated. Therefore, using this pump it is possible to gradually inflate the air chamber, adjusting pressure on the foot and therefore optimising the fit. Finally, a brass and steel air valve allows fine adjustment and full deflation of the air chamber to make it easier to pull the boot off when you have finished using it.

The Torsion Control System® allows lateral and longitudinal movement of the ankle within its physiological limits, preventing excessive torsion and the risk of joint fracture. The Carbon Tech Torsion Control System® is an evolution of the T.C.S® system featuring the introduction of carbon fibre. Its main advantages are a reduction in the overall weight of the boot, greater mechanical control of the ankle and leg and improved resistance in the event of impact.The new upper joint also improves boot flexibility, increases shin and calf protection and ensures more precise control of lateral and longitudinal ankle movement.

The M.C.S.® system offers even greater design and functionality through a new side protection that prevents the fastening screw from wearing out. The system has been designed to prevent excessive bending upwards or downwards in the metatarsal area via the use of two pre-planned stopping points. The system is equipped with an aluminium alloy slider that is resistant wear and easily interchangeable due to a convenient system with protected screws.

Comfort Fit System, developed as a result of years of TCX® know-how, has always been one of the strong points of touring products. This special and virtually entirely manual technique allows the boot to be shaped on a “mould” that faithfully reproduces the anatomy of the foot, making the product exceptionally comfortable and ideal for prolonged use in different situations.

The fitting LAST always involves lengthy and careful study of the anatomical characteristics of the human foot, in particular the heel, toe, instep and foot arch, with the aim to offer maximum COMFORT for the end user.The extraordinary experience that TCX® has gained in designing and producing excellent boots over the years has given rise to a “matrix” which is used, according to specific adjustments, to create the various types of shape. These shapes vary depending on the particular intended use of the product. For touring models, attention focuses on finding soft, snug shapes that are able to offer motorcyclists the maximum level of comfort, even when using the product for long periods of time and in any weather conditions.

TCX® has applied this exclusive technology - specially designed for motorcycle use in the warmest seasons - to some of its Touring line products. This technology combines an upper made from resistant, runproof open-work fabric with a layer of felt and the GORE-TEX® Extended Comfort Footwear membrane to offer a high degree of breathability and absolute water resistance.

Thanks to the C.F.S. - Comfort Fit System, the uppers in the TOURING TCX® line were designed to ensure the complete respect of foot anatomy. ReinFoRceMents Both models in the Woman TCX® range have reinforcements. Inserts in semi-rigid thermoplastic have been carefully positioned near the most vulnerable area of the foot, such as the shin, ankle bone, toe and heel.

The fashion-look sole has been designed to offer maximum comfort and protection, thanks to its special 4-level structure made up of an antibacterial, removable footbed, an EVA insert that absorbs vibration and a structural footbed in thermoplastic material. The sole is made of rubber that is resistant to wear and tear, with a differentiated grip sole and a 2,7 cm high heel.

The shape of the TCX® Lady range has been designed to perfectly fit the anatomy of the female foot, which is structurally different from the male foot, especially in the metatarsal area, where it is thinner with a more accentuated instep area and a generally smaller heel.

Gel inserts at the level of the malleolus bones afford effective protection to the ankle. A preformed counter cradles and supports the heel, enhancing stability and comfort.

The off-road Torsion Control System® has three rigid elements joined together by lugs that slide inside special pockets. Backwards and forwards sliding is ensured by two rear flexion points, while the sideways movement is based on two points that prevent excessive torsion beyond natural limits and protect the rider’s foot from injury. The special system’s design allows normal bending movement of the foot without the annoying deformation of materials used typically for traditional boots.
