TCS HouseTata Consultancy Services changed its corporate residence last year, moving into aheritage building that overlooks a rare green expanse in the heart of Mumbai. Built

in 1922 and renovated in 2007, the building hashistory on its side, not to mention grandeur andclass that befits its wonderful frame.

The transformation carried out by architecturalfirm, Somaya and Kalappa, took 18 months andhas given the building an interesting contrast —heavy stone structure on the outside withcontemporary state-of-the-art interiors. TCSHouse gives an inspiration to move forward evenwhile proudly holding on to the past.

8. The open terrace on the fifth floor is connected with a cantilevered staircase. Done partially in wood and decked up with greenery, it is a oasis in the concrete jungle of the fort area of Mumbai.

9. The state-of-the-art media room can seat more than 40 people.

10. The waiting area has a wall of glass on one side, bringing in a lot of light. It is simple, yet elegant, making visitors feel at home.
