GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS AND PERFORMANCE
• Life test Capacitors are subjected to +85° C at ratedvoltage and +125 °C at 2/3 x rated voltage for 2000 hourswith 3 ohms circuit i mpedanc-e. The ca pad tors must meetthe following limits after stabilizing at 25° C.
• Humidity test Capacitors are sub jected to damp heat
at steady state +40°C with 95% relative humidity. The
capacitors must meet the following limits after stabilizing at
25 °C.
• Thermal shock Capacitors are subjected to 5 cycles of 30minutes at -55 °C followed by 30 minutes at +125 °C. Thecapacitors must meet the following limits after stabilizing at2s·c.
• S urg.e Current Capacitors shall withstand 3 consecutivecycles. The capacitors are charged approximately 4se conds at rated voltage thru a low circuit resistance ofapproximately ·1 ohm @ +25° C followed by a discharge tobelow 1 % of rated voltage. Post lest readings must meetthe following criteria:
• Surge Voltage Su rge voltages are performed at 1-25° C,1-85 °C and +125° C. Capacitors are subject to 1000 cyclesof 1.3 x r,ated voltage for 30 seconds followed by a 30second discha rge period. Aft.er stabilizing at roomtemperature post lest readings must meet the fol lowingcriteria.
