1 Timothy 5:11-15But refuse to enroll younger widows, …they

learn to be idlers, going about from house to house, and not only idlers, but also gossips

and busybodies, saying what they should not. So I would have younger widows marry, bear children, manage their households, and

give the adversary no occasion for slander. For some have already strayed after Satan.

1 Thessalonians 4:11

…and to make it your ambition to lead a quiet life and attend

to your own business and work with your hands, just as

we commanded you…

2 Thessalonians 3:10-12…For we hear that some

among you are leading an undisciplined life, doing no work at all,

but acting like busybodies. Now such persons we command and exhort in the Lord Jesus Christ to work in quiet fashion and eat

their own bread.

What Is Involved In Minding Our Own Business??

John 9:4

We must work the works of Him who sent Me, as long as it is day; night is coming, when no man can work.

Luke 22:19

And when he had taken some bread and given thanks, He

broke it, and gave it to them saying, “this is my body

which is given for you, do this in remembrance of me.”

Matthew 26:29

…I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I

drink it new with you in My Father’s kingdom.

Hebrews 10:26

For if we go on sinning willfully after receiving the

knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a

sacrifice for sins.

Moses dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses.

How much severer punishment do you think he will deserve who has trampled

under foot the Son of God, and has regarded as unclean the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified, and has insulted the Spirit of grace?
