Series NE-I Valves*Sizes 2" to 12"
The Series NE-I is suited for a wide rangeof applications in many industries. This shortneck design is offered in a wide variety of bodymaterials. The valves are designed for installa-tion between ANSI 125/150 flanges.
Series NE-C Valves*Sizes 2" to 12"
The NE-C series consists of general purpose valves, available in both wafer and lugstyles. Neck length provides full clearance ofthe valve top over two inches of insulation onANSI 150 pipe flanges.
Series WF Valves*Sizes 30" and 36"
Series WF valves are designed primarilyfor water service. Shaft diameters, seat, body-shell thickness and disc design conform toClass 75B, Specification AWWA C504. Theoff-center disc presents a 360-degree sealingedge for drop-tight shutoff. A centering adjust-ment and stem-thrust bearing ensure uniformdisc seating. The steel reinforced rubber seatis bidirectional, so it seals against pressurefrom either side. Maintenance is easy becausethe seat can be replaced on the job site withoutdismantling the valve. For salt water and mildchemical service, the body can be plastic coated.
*The NE-C lug, NE-I lug and wafer, NE-D wafer, NF-C, and WF wafer and flanged valves can be supplied in conformance with Title 46 of the Code ofFederal Regulations, Part 56 of the U. S. CoastGuards Marine Engineering Regulations as well asthe American Bureau of Shipping Standard. Inaddition, a Military Series is offered to conform tospecification MIL-V-22133 C (SHIPS).
Series NE-D Valves*Sizes 2" to 12"
Series NE-D valves have short neck bodies and are notched to fit popular light-weight flange patterns. Ideal for use in bulkmaterial handling and the transport industry.Valves will also center in ANSI 125/150flanges.
Series NF-C Valves*Sizes 14" to 36"
NF-C Series valves are available in bothwafer or lug styles. Wafer bodies have twodrilled locating lugs at the top and bottom toensure centering between ANSI 150 flanges.Bronze bearings are installed on both stems forminimum operating torque.

ActuatorsDemco pneumatic actuators are avail-
able in double-acting or fail-safe springreturn models. Series DR actuators are com-pact, high-torque, piston actuators. Series Ractuators incorporate a heavy-duty, enclosedrack-and-pinion linkage. Diaphragm actua-tors are suitable for low-pressure, pneumaticservice with Series R enclosed, rack-and-pin-ion type linkage. Electric actuators are usedwhen compressed air is not available forpneumatic operations.
Stem ExtensionsFabricated from carbon steel parts, stem
extensions are contained in a tubular hous-ing. Gaskets or O-rings seal the stem exten-sion at top and bottom. These extensions arefabricated to specified lengths.
Butterfly Valve HandlesThree basic handle designs interchange
on any 2" to 12" Demco Butterfly Valve. Thelocking handle consists of a latch thatengages in a notched throttle plate at 10 discpositions. Two-position throttle plates areavailable as an option. Upward pressure onthe latch release the handle for movement.Memory-stop handles provide throttlingwhich is infinitely adjustable and can be setby a lock nut with a memory-stop setting(adjustable open stop).
Handles are available in basic trim, cor-rosion-resistant trim and sanitary trim.
Gear OperatorsDemco weatherproof gear operators are
offered with a choice of handwheel, chain-wheel or square nut. The worm gearing hasself-locking set screws to control open andclosed positioning or an optional adjustablememory stop for "balance return" to a presetopen position after closing.
