Helloooooooooooooooooooooo Tampa Bay Parrot Heads...
What an exciting April / May we have had and June is rolling right along!!!
As Tampa Bay Parrot Heads, we..
Attended Tampa Bay Rays opening game against the New York Yankees. Since the
game began at 1pm, we tailgated in the parking lot until game time. Tampa Bay won!
Cleannnnnnnnnnnnnned the beaches (Parrot Head Island) on Saturday, April 8th and
headed to Elmers for Paula's famous margaritas and free buffet. Thank you EVERYONE
that helped pick up trash!
Donated $1500 to Keep Tampa Bay Beautiful for Tropical Nights, their premier fund raising
event to continue their environmental programs.
Volunteeeeeeeeeeeered when called upon at the Pier 60 Sugar Sand membership drive.
Eleven world class sculpturs created sand sculptures from Clearwater sugar sand to
create a Sugar Sand FantaSea exhibit. Gary & the LandSharks closed out the night with
great Buffett tunes.
On May 3rd we presented the 2017 Music on the Bay check to Shriners Hosipitals for
Children™ in the amount of 52k. In 6 years we have raised, along with sponsoring clubs,
$212,000. I'm so proud of all of the passion from our registr nta s, volunteers and committee
members! Save the dates for 2018 3/1-3/4/18.
Palm Harbor Days brought us over 15 new memebrs and a few renewals. I'm proud of the
way our club is growing and of each and everyone of you for your passion, participation
and desire to make Tampa Bay Parrot Heads "The Greatest Club in the World!
It's the PHantastic Members of this Great Club that make it PHUN !!!

!!!BIG CHECK !!! On May 3rd the Tampa Bay Parrot Heads in Paradise Club, Inc. and Whiskey Joe’s presented the large
check to the Shriner’s Hospitals for Children. The Shriners Hospitals for Children honored all the sponsors with certificates of appreciation. This year’s efforts raised a record breaking $52,000 for the Shriners Hospitals for Children™ pushing the total that MOTB has raised for the Shriners Hospitals for
Children™ in excess of $200,000!
