I had the enjoyment of working with Taylor as she did her 40 hour practicum in my seventh grade English language arts classroom. As a teacher of 20 years’ experience, I found Taylor’s enthusiasm, professionalism, and interactions with my students commendable. From the moment Ms. Weaver entered my classroom, she immersed herself in the experience by handing out papers, talking with students and asking what she could do to help. This kind of self-starter attitude makes her an asset to any school district. She quickly showed her competence in the subject area, and I was able to use her in assisting small groups of students as well. This interaction with my students allowed me to witness the positive relationships Ms. Weaver was able to build with the students. She was immediately able to put them at ease and make personal connections which enabled her to ensure their participation. Students asked about her even after she had been gone. As part of her requirements for the practicum, Ms. Weaver planned and taught a lesson to my classes. The materials she created and the activities for the students were both engaging and challenging. I referred to her lesson often in the completion of the unit, and students were able to apply what they learned from her in their summative assessments. In conclusion, any school district would be fortunate to have Ms. Weaver on its staff. She is a motivated and professional self starter. She is knowledgeable in her content area and creates versatile lessons that engage her students. If you have further questions, please contact me. Sincerely, Amy R. To Whom It May Concern:

It is my sincere pleasure to recommend Taylor Weaver to you as an exemplary teacher. I had the enjoyment of

working with Taylor as she did her 40 hour practicum in my seventh grade English language arts classroom. As

a teacher of 20 years experience, I found Taylors enthusiasm, professionalism, and interactions with my

    students commendable.

From the moment Ms. Weaver entered my classroom, she immersed herself in the experience by handing out

papers, talking with students and asking what she could do to help. This kind of self-starter attitude makes her

an asset to any school district. She quickly showed her competence in the subject area, and I was able to use her

in assisting small groups of students as well.

This interaction with my students allowed me to witness the positive relationships Ms. Weaver was able to build

with the students. She was immediately able to put them at ease and make personal connections which enabled

her to ensure their participation. Students asked about her even after she had been gone.

As part of her requirements for the practicum, Ms. Weaver planned and taught a lesson to my classes. The

materials she created and the activities for the students were both engaging and challenging. I referred to her

lesson often in the completion of the unit, and students were able to apply what they learned from her in their

    summative assessments.

In conclusion, any school district would be fortunate to have Ms. Weaver on its staff. She is a motivated and

professional self starter. She is knowledgeable in her content area and creates versatile lessons that engage her

students. If you have further questions, please contact me.

    Sincerely,
