Judge: Bonnie Innes Rules: All plants and flowers must be free of disease, insect damage and insects. Cut flowers must be fresh and have good colour. Any bud showing colour is considered a bloom. Potted plants must be in the exhibitor possession for at least three (3) months. Dead leaves should be removed and pots must be clean. The same potted plants must not be shown more than two (2) years in a row. A single entry in a category does not necessarily get first prize. Rules: The Talent Show is open to all ages – adults encouraged to participate too. There are approximately 20 spots. We encourage all types of talent to come out and shine. Solo and Groups both. CASH PRIZES for every entry. This is a family show so please choose acts appropriately. (All acts chosen are at the convener's discretion.) All entrants are required to bring their own music, props and set - up. Please make sure all music is easily accessible. CD's, USB, and devices are fine but please have music in its playlist. 1. Nifty Fifities Costume Parade - All ages (no talent required just a fun loving nature.) dress up in your favourite costume and come be in our opening numbers. There will be a loot bag for all pre - registered for this part of the talent show. (DEADLINE: September 1, 2016). 2. The Talent Show has room for 20 acts. Singing, dancing, comedy, martial arts, reading, musical instru-ments, baton twirling, team cheers, any talent welcome. At convenor's discretion. (Entries first come first serve with the last day to enter August 31, 2016.) 3. Rules: Exhibitors must be ELEMENTARY SCHOOL AGE AS OF SEPTEMER 1, 2015 Children to show their pets unassisted by an adult, however, each child and their pet must be under adult supervision. Pets must be owned at the time of the Fair. Pets must be properly leashed or caged. All animals must be restrained and under control at all times. The judge’s decision is final. Owner must clean up after their pets. All pets must go home after the show. The pet show will open with a Pet Parade in the show ring. All children showing pets are encouraged to show their pets in the parade. Prize Money: $3.00 / $2.00 / $1.00 / Ribbons to 6th place. Pet Show (stuffed)

Tan-Ooi Family Scholarship - $500

1. Eligibility requirements are:

• Must be a registered student at a college or university.

• Must have a minimum, cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.

• Must show a proven record of involvement in college/ university and community.

• Student parents/guardians must reside in Tavistock or surroundings (within 15 km radius

from Tavistock).

2. Successful recipient will be notified by phone in early September.
