Tate Tryon Announces Staff Promotions FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE February 1, 2013 (Washington DC) - Tate & Tryon is pleased to announce the promotions of 15 staff members within the Firm’s audit and outsourced services departments: Ariana Young, CPA to Audit Manager Ariana Young joined the Firm in the summer of 2012 as an audit supervisor with more than six years of public accounting experience. Ariana holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Pittsburgh and a Master of Accountancy from George Washington University. Janet Ownley, CPA to Audit Supervisor Janet joined Tate & Tryon’s audit department in the fall of 2010 as a staff auditor. Janet holds a BS from Winthrop University and Master of Accounting from the College of William & Mary. Janet is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Greater Washington Society of CPAs (GWSCPA). Dante Williams to Controller Dante Williams joined the Firm in 2011 with more than 7 years of accounting experience. He had previously worked in the Firm’s Outsourced Services department between 2004 and 2008 and then returned in 2011 after spending several years as an assistant controller with the International Economic Development Council. Dante holds a BS in Accounting from West Virginia Wesleyan University. Min-Ling Chou to Controller Min-Ling joined Tate & Tryon in the fall of 2008 as a senior accountant and has more than 10 years of public accounting experience. Min-Ling holds a master's degree in accounting from Strayer University. David West to Supervising Senior Accountant David West joined the Firm’s Outsourced Services department in 2012 as a senior accountant after previously working for SmithBucklin Corporation. David holds a BS in Accounting from High Point University. Miles Workman to Supervising Senior Accountant Miles joined the Firm’s Outsourced Services department in 2008 as a senior accountant after previously working for Argy, Wiltse & Robinson as an outsourced accountant. Miles holds a BS in Accounting from Davis & Elkins College in West Virgina and is in the process of sitting for the CPA exam.

February 1, 2013 (Washington DC) - Tate & Tryon is pleased to announce the promotions of 15 staff members within the Firm’s audit and outsourced services departments: 

Ariana Young, CPA to Audit ManagerAriana Young joined the Firm in the summer of 2012 as an audit supervisor with more than six years of public accounting experience.  Ariana holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Pittsburgh and a Master of Accountancy from George Washington University.

Maryim Mujahid to Supervising Senior AccountantMaryim joined the Firm’s Outsourced Services department in 2008 as a staff accountant after working with the YMCA of Greater Pittsburgh.  Maryim holds a BS in Accounting from the University of Pittsburgh.

Young Kim, CPA to Supervising Senior AccountantYoung Kim joined the Firm’s Outsourced Services department in 2012 as a senior accountant after previously serving as a Controller for the YMCA of Superior California.  Young holds a BS in Accounting from North Carolina State University. 

Billy Sissamis to Senior AccountantBilly Sissamis joined Tate & Tryon in the spring of 2011 as a staff accountant in the Firm’s Outsourced Services department.  He recently authored an article on the benefits and best practices associated with transitioning to cloud-based accounting programs which appeared in the March 2012 issue of the Firm’s newsletter.  Billy holds a BA from American University and is currently working on his MS from there as well.

David Doher to Audit SeniorDavid Doher joined the Firm in the fall of 2011 as a staff auditor after previously working with Regis & Associates as a senior auditor.  David is a graduate of the University of Michigan and recently passed all four parts of the CPA exam.

Lidija Stojkoska to Senior AccountantLidija Stojkoska was hired in January 2012 as a senior staff accountant in the Firm’s Outsourced Services department after previously working as a senior accountant for Wiebe Hinton Hambalek, LLP.  Lidija holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Fresno Pacific University.

Michael Fries to Senior AccountantMichael Fries joined the Firm in the summer of 2012 as a senior staff accountant in the Firm’s Outsourced Services department.  Michael holds a BS in Accounting from the University of Maryland University College and previously worked for CHC CPAs as a staff accountant.

Rachel Cary to Senior AccountantRachel Cary joined Tate & Tryon’s Outsourced Services department in the summer of 2011 as a senior staff accountant after previously working as an accounting associate for Monument Realty.  Rachel is currently in the process of completing a master’s degree from the University of Mary Washington where she also earned her bachelor’s degree. 

Audrey Gu to Senior Staff AccountantAudrey first began her career with Tate & Tryon as an accounting intern during her senior year at Liberty University.  After finishing her undergraduate studies, Audrey joined Tate & Tryon’s Outsourced Services department as a full time staff accountant in 2012.  

Molly Wannen to Senior Staff AccountantMolly Wannen joined Tate & Tryon in the summer of 2011 as a staff accountant in the Firm’s Outsourced Services department.  Molly holds a BS from the College of William & Mary.
