    TASK DESCRIPTION

    1. Dry Ice Limitation- To count the limitation of dry ice bring by an aircraft especially MASkargo newarriving A330-200f. This limitation is for safety to the passenger and aircraft

    itself. This is because if too many dry ice bought by an air craft , if unexpectaccident or incidence happen, it may give big impact to aircraft especially pax

    aircraft which bring passengger .

    2. DGR statistics for Tran-shipment

    -This is ongoing project,which every day transshipment depart in Kuala Lumpur

    International Airport Advance Cargo Centre ( KLIA ACC) must be check for

    dangerous good to be record. By this way, we can know what dangerous good

    through KLIA, then the record of dangerous good must be send to Department of

    Civil Aviation (DCA). Dangerous good classed in few classes which follow their type

    and their level of dangerous which have declared by IATA. The classes of dangerousgoods are as follow :

    Class 1 - Explosive

    Class 2 - Gases

    Class 3 - Flammable Liquids

    Class 4 - Flammable Solids,

    Class 5 - Oxidizing Substances and Organic Peroxide

    Class 6 - Toxic and Infectious Substances

    Class 7 Radioactive Substances

    Class 8 - Corrosives

    Class 9 - Miscellaneous Dangerous Goods

    These dangerous goods have their UN number which this UN number will classified

    their category and level of dangerous. Dangerous goods also must follow the

    packing instruction provided by IATA to increase their safety while flying in height

    sky which have a lot of bad consumption like depress, shaking, and so on which give

    high impact to that dangerous goods to react. The tight instruction of packaging andpacking the dangerous goods must be follow in order to prevent danger to the

    aircraft, environment, and passenger on board especially.

    2. Periodical Inspection & review of checklist- Inspection is a one step to make sure safety is always in standard level or

    maintain. So periodical inspection must be held, this is a way to maintain

    the safety in work place especially in area of ACC which have a lot of

    unexpect accident and incident. So, before it happen, the preventive step

    must be held, prevent is better than cure. Periodical inspection normallyheld in every 3 month in each place. The inspection include in ware house

    area, personal preventive equipment, airside, in the office, cold room and

    so on.

    4. ICIX card distribution and data update- ICIX is stand for I see I act, this is a form of reporting unsafe act/ unsafe

    condition/ hazards. This form is distribute to all place of strategic locations

    in ACC, which make easier to staff or people to make report if they saw the

    situation we they thing can give danger to other people. After filling the form,

    they must send to the personal incharge at safety department to entry the

    data and send directly to the reponsible party which will take action of that

    reported matter.

    5. Statistics of DG- Every month, the statistics of dangerous good must be prepair. This report

    is combination of 3 area which are import, export and transshipment. This

    statistics of dangerous good is separate by carrier, destination and origin,

    and so on.

    6. Safety enforcement- Safety department also responsible to the safety of the worker in all area in

    ACC, so to make sure all safety rule and regulation follow by them, theenforcement is need, especially in warehouse which it surround with over

    weight and over size cargo, which if not have any preventive step maybe give

    bad impact to the work and business. The safety enforcement focus to thepersons and environment which give effect to the worker in order to do their

    job. For example, persons who want enter the warehouse must wearing

    reflection jacket and safety boot, because in the ware house they are many

    consumption to the person to get accident. By wearing safety boot can

    prevent our toe and feet from any over weight cargo and by wearing

    reflection jacket can notice folklift driver that have other persons in their

    way. For somebody who breaking the safety rules may issues RM50 of

    summon and if frequent happen, the pass will be take for temporary periods.

    7. Preparing report of meeting ( IMS meeting)- IMS or intergrated management system, is a combination of 3 system which

    are ISO 9001 for quality management system, ISO 14001 for environmentalmanagement system and OHSAS 18001 is for occupational safety and health

    management system. This meeting is to update the situation happen and

    planning for next year event.

    - Helping any work need in the event, mostly a camera man, runner and so on.

    9. Preparing monthly report for vendor mishandling- This report is for vendor mishandling, which in this report show theirquality of works, charges pending if they have any mishaling and error made

    and so on

    10.Prepare report for undeclared DG- Dangerous good which through KLIA ACC must be declare, if any

    dangerous good are not declared, we must take notice about that and

    need to record in the other report form.

    11.Prepare report for oversize and over weight DG- sometimes some dangerous goods bought by aircraft is over weight and notfollow the rules, so we must take note about this. This is because some

    dangerous good need to follow the weight regulation. If over the limit, it may

    give hazard to the aircraft carried if it react.

    12.Prepare safety and IMS course participants info to HR certificate give.- every course attend by attendant must take their information. This is for

    prepairing the certificate of attendance. This certificate is the prove for themthat they have certified that course.

    13.Prepare station operational Quality & Safety audit into audit master list.- MASkargo have 10 station operational abroad, these stations must alsofollow the quality & safety in order to standardize the quality of service by

    company.
