Research into similar magazines to base mine upon.

NMENME uses the the rule of thirds clearly by using the ‘magic C’ which means the layout is like a c shape. I think this will bode well with my magazine as it is a nice clear structure, that gets the message across.

The logo is also positioned at the top left corner so when they are stacked it is noticeable to the audience. This is another feature I like about the magazine

The magazine also features many different articles as well, with its main article being the top 25 of USA list.

This magazine ranges in genre from indie to Hip hop. As you can tell with having vampire weekend and lil wayne featured on the cover.

QThis layout also follows the rule of thirds with a medium close up centered in the middle.

The logo is also positioned at the top left corner so when they are stacked it is noticeable to the audience. I may include this in my own magazine.

This magazine has a range of articles to read from, with a few being interviews with artists and reviews of albums. Along with festival guides.
