Task 1b Inspirational adverts
Apple new iPod advert. Bounce is one of my
favourite adverts. As it has catchy music and
that it make the product look professional and makes the product stand out more
due to the bright colours against the white
background which makes it fun and vibrant advert
which is fun to watch as it entertains you and it leaves you wanting to know more as all the info it has on the advert is the name of the
product and the apple logo which would make you want
to go to the website to find out more.
I think that the advert was very good, it stood out a lot due to the vibrant colouring and white background as well as a good choice in music which raises the professionalism of the product and its credibility.
Sales for the iPod have gone up dramatically since the advert was published, as it shows the release of the product at first hand which always goes well when there is a new apple product on the market.
I think the advert achieved there goal which was to raise sales and popularity with the product and being known for making that kind of product, known for the bright colours, which I believe they did.
The graphics also stand out well and the colours are vibrant, and its filmed in good quality and makes it look good as a product and a company.
It uses the logo at the end which every apple has so it is consistent with other adverts made by apple, which makes people look out for the logo at the end of the advert which make the logo and the products stick in the viewers mind
Apple doesn’t have well known slogan their latest slogan used in 2009 was “Get a Mac”, I don’t think they require a slogan as the logo is so universal and so well recognised it works better than a slogan as its visual and stays in the mind. But no advert made by apple since then has used a slogan.
The advert was made by Philip w Shiller who is apple’s marketing director he has work at apple since 1997.
The logo was developed by Rob Janoff who also designed the coloured logo for apple.
It was developed from the original logo which had sir Isaac newton holding the apple that fell on his head, this logo didn’t work as it was to difficult for people to see quickly and it didn’t show the simplicity and professionalism that a computer and mobile company carries.
