N O T I F I C A T I O N

S.R.O. (I)/2012.- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of Section 8

of Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority Ordinance, 2002 (XVII of 2002), the Authority, in

supersession of its notification No.S.R.O.1497(I)/2012, dated 31st December, 2012, is

pleased to notify the sale prices and minimum charges specified in schedule below, for the

purposes of the said Ordinance, in respect of natural gas sold by the following companies to

various categories of their retail consumers with immediate effect, namely:-

SCHEDULE

(1) Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (2) Sui Southern Gas Company Limited

I. Domestic Sector:

a) Standalone meters b) Mosques, churches, temples, madrassas, other Religious Places and Hostels

attached thereto;

Minimum charges Rs. 143.29 per month c) Government and Semi-Government Offices, Hospitals, Clinics, Maternity

Homes, Government Guest Houses, Armed Forces Messes, Langars, Universities, Colleges, Schools and Private Educational Institutions, Orphanages and other Charitable Institutions along-with Hostels and Residential Colonies to whom gas is supplied through bulk meters including Captive Power.

Sale price: All off-takes at flat rate of Rs. 530.69 per MMBTU

Minimum charges Rs. 3,184.20 per month

Sale price: Rs./MMBTU Upto 100 M3 per month All off-takes at flat rate of 106.14 Upto 300 M3 per month All off-takes at flat rate of 212.28 Over 300 M3 per month All off-takes at flat rate of 530.69

II. Commercial:

All establishments registered as commercial units with local authorities or dealing in consumer items for direct commercial sale like cafes, bakeries, milk-shops, tea stalls, canteens, barber shops, laundries, hotels, malls, places of entertainment like cinemas, clubs, theaters and private offices, corporate firms etc.



III. Special Commercial (Roti Tandoors)

Minimum charges Rs. 143.29 per month

IV. Ice Factories:



V. Industrial:

All consumers engaged in the processing of industrial raw material into value added finished products irrespective of the volume of gas consumed including hotel industry but excluding such industries for which a separate rate has been prescribed.

Sale price: All off-takes at flat rate of Rs. 488.23 per MMBTU Minimum charges Rs. 16,463.14 per month

VI. Compressed Natural Gas (CNG):


Sale price: Rs./MMBTU Upto 100 M3 per month All off-takes at flat rate of 106.14 Upto 300 M3 per month All off-takes at flat rate of 212.28 Over 300 M3 per month All off-takes at flat rate of 636.83

Minimum charges Rs. 22,138.76 per month VII. Cement:

Sale price: All off-takes at flat rate of Rs. 742.97 per MMBTU Minimum charges Rs. 25,053.41 per month

VIII. Fertilizer Companies:

a) ON SNGPL SYSTEM

(i) Pak-American Fertilizer Company Limited:

Sale price: All off-takes at the flat rate of

(a) Rs. 123.41 per MMBTU for gas used

as feed-stock; and

(b) Rs. 488.23 per MMBTU for gas used as fuel for generation of electricity, steam and for usage of housing colonies.

(ii) Dawood Hercules Chemicals Limited, Chichoki Mallian, Sheikhupura District:


(a) Rs. 123.41 per MMBTU for gas used as feed-stock; and

(b) Rs. 488.23 per MMBTU for gas used

as fuel for generation of electricity, steam and for usage of housing colonies.

(iii) Pak-Arab Fertilizer Limited, Multan:





(iv) Pak-China Fertilizer Limited, Haripur:

(b) Rs. 67.38 per MMBTU for gas used as feed-stock (additional 10 MMCFD) (provisional).

IX. Power Stations (WAPDA’s and KESC’s Power Stations):

(i) WAPDA’s and KESC’s Power Stations and other electricity utility

companies

Minimum charges Rs. 16,463.14 per month (ii) WAPDA’s Gas Turbine Power Station, Nishatabad, Faisalabad

(iii) Liberty Power Limited’s Gas Turbine Power Plant (Phase 1) at Daharki

Sale price (provisional): All off-takes at flat rate of Rs. 1,501.04 per MMBTU


X. Independent Power Producers:



All off-takes at flat rate of Rs. 488.23 per MMBTU

Fixed charge: Rs. 975,000 per month


XI. Captive Power:

(i) ENGRO Fertilizer Company Limited::

Sale price: All off-takes at flat rate of

as feed-stock; and

(iii) Fauji Fertilizer Company Limited, Mirpur Mathelo, District Ghotki (ex-PSFL):

Sale price: All off-takes at flat rate of (a) Rs. 123.41 per MMBTU for gas used

as feed-stock; and (b) Rs. 67.38 per MMBTU for gas used as feed-stock (additional 10

MMCFD) (provisional).

(c) Rs. 488.23 per MMBTU for gas used as fuel for generation of electricity, steam and for usage of housing colonies.

Section 8 of Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority Ordinance, 2002 (XVII of 2002), the

Authority, in super-session of its notification No.S.R.O.806(I)/2012, dated 30th June,

2012, is pleased to notify, the following sale prices and minimum charges specified in

column (3) of the table below, for the purposes of the said Ordinance, in respect of

natural gas sold by the Pakistan Petroleum Limited and Mari Gas Company Limited to
