Rationale In Choosing the Target

-It is Poor kindergarten.

-It is Close to the school.

-It’s Children are from the same families of school’s students .

-It was recommended by the local council responsible.

- -Access volunteers can reach quickly and easily.

- -It can be easily followed and conducted by the school .

Work Stages :

The volunteer work in the kindergarten came by many stages:

-Looking for Financial supporter .

-Planning the work.

-Volunteers and coordinator expectations.

-Carrying out the plans.

Financial supporter

During the meeting that the school

administration had with the one of the Israeli

environment activists , he showed interests

and support to our service learning day and

promised to supply the plants, the paintings

and other needed materials.

Planning the work.

-In planning the work I shared the

kindergarten’s teacher, access students’

representative, school principal, and a member

of Israeli keeping environment association.

- -Together we visited the targeted kindergarten

and spotted the locations that we intended to

improve and fix .

Volunteers and access teachers expectations.

-Before we begin our work in the kindergarten we had many

dialogues through the access lessons in which we explained

the importance of the community service ,and how strong

the U.S Embassy, and Amal net representatives support

volunteering work in the community .

-Through the dialogue that we initiated with the students,

we both showed our enthusiasm and interest for developing

and improving the mentioned kindergarten.

Carrying out the plans

The plans came by four stages:

1 -Cleaning and preparing the ground.

2 -planting and watering the plants.

3 -Painting and decorating the out side of the kindergarten.

4 -Decorating and designing the in side of the kindergarten.
