POJECTED TARGET CLIENT PROFILE:

Echo-Boomers Echo Boomers (age 24-34) have grown up with computers their whole lives. They are experts at multi-tasking. They will seek out Hato Rey because it’s exciting. Echo Boomers want to live where it is cool. A recent national survey by the Federal Highway Administration in 2001, found that 57% of Echo Boomers felt that an easy walk to retail stores was an extremely important determinant in housing and neighborhood choice.

Hot Buttons Echo Boomers want technology. They crave bandwidth and need high speed for music and video downloads, FTP transfers, and web page design. They spend many hours in virtual worlds. A typical Echo Boomer’s apartment would consist of a Dell Dimension 8250 with 19” flat screen, a super high definition TV, a sofa, microwave and a king size mattress.

They seek apartments that offer flexible space. Today, they might be alone. Tomorrow, they might have two roommates. Echo Boomers do not need luxury. They want to live in a building that is environmentally friendly.

Purchasing Characteristics Echo Boomers will usually make very little down payments. This can range from 3-10%. They have good jobs and can afford high monthly payments. They are fast tracking their careers and are considering income increases in the coming years. They will generally not be covered with furniture and life insurance.
