    Preface

    Since 1996, John Detillier, Jr., founder and President ofChanging Lives, has exposed thousands of individuals to this workin free informational seminars. These seminars were held forelementary and high school students, college health fairs, adulteducation students, teachers and administrators, massage therapy

    students, wellness groups, and even a prison staff. John alsoparticipated in business expos, health fairs, hospital seminars,business groups, employee health fairs, Rotary, Kiwanis andWomens club meetings, and seminars held at hotels and publiclibraries for the general public. John volunteered and assisted theAssociation of Thought Field Therapy (ATFT) Trauma Team thatworked with traumatized hospital workers from the New OrleansCharity Hospital after Hurricane Katrina with wonderful success, aswell as many local residents in the affected areas. He has

    participated as a guest on talk radio working with surprisedlisteners successfully over the phone. John has also appeared onThe Extra Mile television show. The impact of these seminars hasfar-reaching, positive, and life-changing results. John knows thatby putting this work into a manual, it will be another tool forindividuals to successfullyTap Into Their Unlimited Potential.

    I want to personally thank my children, Sarah, Mary, andCeleste, for the sacrifices of not having dad at home on manyoccasions because of out of town trips and trainings. I am gratefulfor the opportunity to assist them with the Tap4Success System

    and it was a privilege and pleasure to have trained my youngest twodaughters as Advanced EMF Practitioners. Sarah, my oldestdaughter, graciously volunteered to model the tapping points for themanual. One of her desires is to be a model (its a start).

    But most of all, I thank God for helping me to find my passionin life and allowing me to be of service to others in such a rewardingcapacity. I am grateful for all of the unique systems that I have hadthe privilege of learning. I thank God for giving me the inspiration

    Chapter 1 The Tap4Success System Routines

    Introduction

    These routines will seem strange but remember that the success

    of these simple techniques is indisputable as evidenced bytestimonials of thousands of satisfied users. Remember, acupuncturehas been around for thousands of years and acupressure was usedbefore needles were introduced. We are balancing the energy in thebody as we are stimulating these energetic points in the body bytapping with the fingertips.

    The speed of relief from administering these techniques is almostunbelievable when compared to the traditional forms of behavioral

    therapies utilized that usually require months or years to resolveissues. As youll experience, these routines can assist in an instant.The most exciting part is that they can be self-administered.

    Please note that for more difficult cases, it is best to work with apractitioner trained and skilled in administering these techniques.Oftentimes, results can be achieved quicker and longer lasting withthe assistance of others. The power of intention of both thepractitioner and client assists in the process of the healing. For yourconvenience, you many want to try phone sessions in the comfort ofyour own home as you clear the emotional baggage of your past.

    As always, remember persistence is a key in the success of thesetechniques. There is no limit to the number of times that theseroutines can be performed. You can use them upon waking in themorning, before meals, after washing hands, at stoplights, bedtime, orany other convenient time.

    Remember, also to drink plenty of water. Water is a conductor

    of electrical energy and the routines are balancing these energies inthe body.

    There are many different tapping routines. For all of the tappingtechniques in this manual, please utilize the index and middle fingersof the dominant hand used in making the peace sign, if possible.Some routines may require tapping on the dominant hand and you

    will have to use the other hand. Put the fingers together and use fortapping to put peace in your body. (See Figures 1-1 & 1-2 on page3).

    As you tap on the appropriate spots, you should gently tapenough to feel the pressure being applied on the point, but not hard

    enough to hurt yourself. Remember, you are just stimulating thepoint.

    Before starting a tapping session, take a deep breath in throughyour nose and out through the mouth. You should repeat this simpledeep breathing exercise 3 times and then you can start the tappingroutine.

    As you are utilizing these techniques, lets use a Subjective Unit

    of Distress (SUD) to gauge the success of this work. Lets use a scaleof 1 to 10 as a SUD score on your issues to get a before and afterreading.

    We will be showing and explaining 6 simple self-administeredroutines to be used. As you work with these routines, notice whichones have the most positive effect on you, as determined by your SUDlevel change. Those will be the ones that you will utilize on aconsistent basis during your life as you are dealing with the

    challenges of life. We also have an advanced technique as well asindividual routines that well discuss at the end of this chapter. Themost important thing to remember when performing these routines isto keep your mind tuned to the issue that you are working on.

    Daily Tapping Routine

    This routine can be used upon arising in the morning and alsobefore going to bed at night while thinking about or reciting yourgoals for your life. It is important to have goals in all areas of yourlife, physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, financial, social, andschool or career. You attract into your life like magnets those goals,which you persistently pursue with passion and determination.Remember, ask and you shall receive.

    It can also be performed while reciting your favorite intentions orprayers. Remember, intentions give power to your desires. Theimportant thing to remember is to have your mind "computer screen"tuned in to your desires and intentions while performing the Daily

    Tapping Routine.

    One of my favorite affirmations is from The Master Key System,written by Charles Haanel in 1912, I am whole, perfect, strong,powerful, loving, harmonious and happy.

    It is also important to visualize yourself already achieving thosegoals and desires. The power of visualization has the capacity totransform your dreams into reality. Also, when visualizing your goal,

    get into the feeling that you will have when achieving it. This is a vitalstep that many people are not following in the accomplishment oftheir goals.

    Another important component of achieving your desires andintentions is to have faith. As the Bible states, If you have the faithof a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain to move from here tothere and it is done.

    This gives you some additional techniques to enhance your ability toraise your consciousness and increase your frequencies to becomemore balanced, centered, and successful in life. You can also use thisroutine throughout your life at any time to balance your energysystems, as situations arise while tuning in to your issues.

    1)Using the right index and middle fingers, gently tap 12 timeson the end of the right eyebrow, while simultaneously usingthe left index and middle fingers to tap 12 times on the end ofthe left eyebrow. This is on the outside edge of both eyebrowsnear the temples. (See Figure 1-3 on page 5).

    2)Tap 12 times on the Top of Head. This spot is at the crown ofthe head even with the tips of both ears. (See Figure 1-4 on page6).

    3)Tap 12 times on the Thymus Point on the Chest. This spot ison the thymus point about two inches down from the top of thebone right below the windpipe. (See Figure 1-5 on page 6).

    NOTE that The Daily Tapping Routine can be repeated as manytimes as you like until you feel balanced and centered. I enjoyperforming it upon arising in the morning and before going to bed atnight. As you can see, this routine does not take long to perform andcan be taught to anyone.

    About the Author

    John Detillier, Jr. has over 25 years in the computer industry and hasbeen involved in management and motivation of employees for 15years. John also has sales experience and workingknowledge of the following businesses: Real Estate, Insurance,Grocery Industry, Education, Securities, Network Marketing, TaxPreparation, Counseling, Alternative Health, and more.

    John earned the designation of TFTdx from Dr. CallahansTraining Center in Indian Wells, CA. John is also a Certified Trainerof the Thought Field Therapy (TFT) routines.
